Sorrento Sweets, Port Richey FL

Ordered a Specialty Cassatta Cake for my 70th B-day. Added specific instructions to it. I must state it was made to order and tasted FANTASTIC.

Usually Sorrento’s pastries are excellent. This past weekend I was very disappointed. The Napoleon crust was tuff as opposed to a flakey crust. The cannoli was prefilled and the shell was soft. The death by chocolate cake wasn’t at it freshest state. I do have to say the assortment of cookies were very good.

All my mom wanted for her birthday was a cannoli cake, so we decided to try out Sorrento Sweets and their cassata cake. My mom absolutely loved it. The ladies who work there are very nice too!

Italy? Really? I went to Italy please! These sweets are heavy, grassy and not fresh. 4 dólars for a sweet it should be fresh please!

So far I bought only Tiramisu there a few times but they have a great variety of other cakes and pastries too. They import some of their ingredients from italy. Every time you buy something there you earn points towards free cookies or certain things from their sortiment.

We both had sandwiches and took home a variety of treats. The sandwiches were average, with no chips available or any other sides. Drink options were very limited. The sweets were good except for the very dried out large chocolate chip cookie. So, a hit or miss place. Maybe it will get better over time.

The Carrot cake I ordered for my friends birthday was the bomb! Everyone asked me where the cake was made. And of course I told them, Sorrento Sweets!
Their cookie collection is amazing! The fig cookies I brought home were amazing also!
Definitely gonna be one of my frequents.
Homemade paninis, which I can't wait to try.
Plus a breakfast menu.
A small, but very good establishment!

I am soooo disappointed. The food was tasteless and cold. I really did not expect this from an Italian store. Will never order again from them.

THE best cassata cake we’ve ever had. My family came from NY to visit us yesterday. They said it was so good and the pastries were fresh and delicious. Thank you Gianna you were a big help.

Very clean. Cute little spot for sweet treats. I always stop by and grab my kids goodies when I am in the area. The Italian cookies are superb. The staff are always friendly. The girl from NewYork was very quick, efficient and had that spunk that reminded me of home

Since we got here in January, I have stopped by quite a bit.
They have the BEST Italian bread! We have been buying from them instead of the grocery store. Delicious pastries and a huge selection of cookies.
Plus, if your lucky enough to score a loaf of their pepperoni bread. Grab one! My husband died and went to heaven. He popped it in the oven and warmed it about 15 mins. Sliced it up and shared with everyone. He said it was the best he ever had!
I think their lobster tails are the best I have ever had. *Get it with the canolli filling* You will not be disappointed.

This bakery is a gem, it has great coffee, their sweets are amazing, I tried tiramisu, italian cheesecake, lobster tail and canoli. Everything even the bread (try prosciutto bread) are made from scratch and the recipes you can tell are truly italian!

Picked up pastries, gave to other fellow New Yorkers and good if not better than up north. A shout out to Kathryn who fixed a pricing error. Had a big order didn't know exactly what I wanted but Alicia was outstanding. Worth the drive.

Stopped in today and had some of the most delicious desserts of my life, the other comments don't lie the lobster tail is a MUST

Came in today for pastries and OMG! They have everything! Everything was delicious and the customer service was extraordinary, very professional and answered every question and they knew all the ingredients in the pastries, we will be back!

Sfogliatelle and cannolis were excellent! Just like NY. Happy to have found this place in time for Christmas-my family will be excited when they get their treats!

Great service and delicious sweets, definitely support this local spot! And if you haven't tried one. You MUST get a lobster tail (don't question the name just eat one WOW) thanks to the ladies who waited for me a few minutes past closing

We recently moved nearby and wow, what a hidden gem! They have THE BEST coffee (20x better than Dunkins or Starbucks) and great, friendly staff who knows how to make it. We went to Italy last fall and you can tell the difference in American expresso vs Italian espresso. Highly recommend their Sorrentino (like a frappuccino). I think they should put up more signage and advertise the coffee because I don't think many people know this place is here and has amazing coffee! The first time I went in, I got butter cookies but I knew butter cookies were not my personal favorite (they were still delicious). However, I went back and got a turnover next time and hands- down, best turnover I've ever had. Their pastries are awesome. People who haven't been to an Italian bakery may not appreciate or like some of the items, but it's authentic and has something for everyone!

Stopped today for the very first bought a pound of Cookie's plus several pieces of cake best Cookie's and cake we had in a long time.defently worth the drive from spring hill
