South Beach Detox, North Miami Beach FL

Please be aware. I wrote a post about this facility about a month ago. I have information now that the facility is allowing clients to come back only under the agreement that they post a 5 star review. I have texts from multiple patients showing me this interaction. If you refer to my previous review you will see what I mean by saying you can come back if you leave a review. AVOID THIS FACILITY.

Avoid this facility at all costs. ZERO GROUPS, ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, ZERO EFFORTS. Clients are allowed to keep their phones, and results in everyone sitting in their bed all day. If you're lucky you'll have one single 45 min group per day. People come and go like a hotel. They stay for a week, go get high, come back like a revolving door. People have drugs in there- it is dirty and very toxic.

PLEASE do yourself and your loved ones a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE. If you don't take my word, you'll wish you did after.

******The negative reviews are extremely accurate, and George will comment "youve never been here this is a fake review" yet the reviews are 100% accurate

This place saved my life. Russell went above and beyond to get me in safe then personally got my belongings from my halfway house. They also placed me in a fabulous PHP for my next step. Robert is an excellent group facilitator so knowledgeable about so many things. Also India really helped get my discharge organized and was very professional.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost. They don’t care about your well being they care about your money. They’ll treat you like a caged dog

This facility is dirty and its housekeeping staff needs to do better. There should be no reason why I have bed bugs and cockroaches after leaving my belongings in them, bad enough I don’t receive all of my belongings.

This place kept it 100. Rochelle And Russell Levine saved my life on numerous occasions. Staff is always on point, they rush to take care of your needs. I relapsed multiple times and they never judged and made me feel like I was good enough to love myself and my daughter. If you're looking for somewhere to get clean then south Beach detox is a one in a million shot.

South Beach Detox, unfortunately, stands out as an abysmal choice for anyone seeking help or support. My recent experience with this facility has left me utterly disappointed and concerned about the well-being of individuals seeking recovery.

The first glaring issue at South Beach Detox is the severe understaffing. The lack of personnel is evident throughout the facility, leading to an unmanageable and chaotic environment. It is clear that the staff is overwhelmed, compromising the quality of care and attention given to residents.

Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any facility, especially one catering to individuals undergoing detox. Shockingly, South Beach Detox fails miserably in this regard. The overall cleanliness of the facility leaves much to be desired, raising serious questions about the commitment to providing a safe and hygienic environment for residents.

Organization and structure are fundamental components of any effective rehabilitation program. Unfortunately, South Beach Detox lacks these essential elements. The absence of organized groups, therapy sessions, and a structured program undermines the very purpose of a detox facility. Residents are left without the necessary tools and support to navigate their recovery journey.

One of the most alarming aspects of my experience was the complete absence of proper food standards. The meals provided were not only inedible but would be unsuitable even for a stray dog. The lack of quality in the food offered raises serious concerns about the overall well-being and nutritional support provided to residents during a critical phase of their recovery.

Equally disturbing is the fact that the cafeteria staff at South Beach Detox neglect basic hygiene practices. Shockingly, I observed that no gloves were used while handling food. This blatant disregard for hygiene poses a significant risk to the health and safety of residents, further highlighting the facility's lack of attention to even the most basic standards.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against considering South Beach Detox as a viable option for anyone seeking assistance with addiction recovery. The facility's severe understaffing, uncleanliness, lack of organization, and subpar food quality create an environment that is not only ineffective but potentially harmful to those in need. It is crucial to explore alternative options that prioritize the well-being and recovery of individuals, as South Beach Detox falls far short of meeting these essential criteria.

If you're trying to get, and stay clean - look no further. I had a genuinely good experience here after suffering for years.

Rochelle goes above and beyond for her clients, Donna is very caring for the clients, and Russell stays in contact with you throughout your stay to make sure you're doing well.

Dr. Khan is great DR who will work with you to get you on the appropriate meds.

Psych DR Sheena is also very caring for her patients.

The nurses during the day truly care about their patients unlike other facilities.

Overall if you're struggling with addiction or mental health, this is the place to be.

Mr. Robert the group facilitator has nothing but knowledge, and wisdom in his amazing groups.

I highly recommend this place.

Thank you so much to Russell and SB Detox for saving my life. I was in pretty bad shape when Russell was able to move mountains to find me a bed there. And with the help of Larson and his team of caretakers, they were able to nurse me back to health. They even went as far as to find extended sober care. If you’re in need of immediate help, contact Russell and the team at SB Detox. They can help.

Very chaotic environment. Disorganized technicians, dirty beds and linens. The food is very good.

This is probably not the best place to stay for detox, but I will say this; their food is bomb and the beds are really comfy.if your gonna stay here just stay there temporarily.the place seems hectic at first but once you get to know the staff and the people around you its one hell of a great time.

This place is a true gem, from the technicians to the doctors are fabulous! They took care of everything for me and made my stay just the best. Thanks again guys!

Amazing place where they care about patient needs and have a human touch to everyone… ppl such as Mr Russell went out of his way to make things happen. In conclusion is a great place to get clean and sober.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered. From coordination and admissions to being forced out in the early morning without notice. The owners and staff don’t treat you like a patient. You’re just money to them. I have never felt so disrespected in any setting in my lifetime. Please find another facility. This is just a scam.
