South Beach Rooms and Hostel reviews
10They never clean up you beds. You have to do clean up. Previous person had through the food or dirty papers or snack wrap.where is the covid protocol? Bathroom sink was always flooded, I had report two times but no action. I had asked give me pupmp.nothing. Kitchen was closed for repairing, There is not WiFi in rooms.only lobby have WiFi. Staff is so rude. They had even charge my credit card for two times. Still fighting for refund. Not getting proper answer too.
Very cool spot, it has the Art Deco vibe and strategically located, it shows its time but with breakfast and dinner included in the price, well, that's a great deal. Highly recommended price/benefit.
Problem of toilet in our rooms at 10pm. The employees have done nothing to clean out room, we did by ourself. Room absolutely not clean the first day (shower blocked; yellow bed sheet…).
À éviter! Two days without lights in the bathroom asked 5 times at the reception to do something the shower is making noise all night you take your shower in 30 cm of water it’s disgusting a big no! Worst hostel too many noises at night the only positive thing is the location near the beach but it’s not worth it at all
So this hostel was not Black traveler friendly. They harassed me and other black guest constantly. I was constantly being told that didn’t have room there. Constantly told I was lying cause I was black and being mistaken for a local thug when I flew all the way from Puerto Rico to be racially profiled every night I came back from the club/restaurant/beach. It went as far as the as the white counter person telling me that my money wasn’t good even to book another room. I’ve never stayed anywhere so bigoted. They don’t even speak English well they would rather just profile people. I would not recommend staying here if you don’t want your trip ruined by prejudice.
For the price I think it is the service that you can imagine.
Beginning with the good things the beds I thing are relatively good but not the pillows.
The bathroom for men is ok but absolutely for women it won’t be no good at all.
To climb to the blunk bed the stairs are really a pain and for those who sleep it is annoying because of the noise.
Again, for the price I find it ok.
The only thing that surprised we and got me offended was that you couldn’t use the articles of the kitchen as pans, pots, and cooking articles. This is my first time in a hostel that they tell me that you can’t use it because people live theme dirty. It is crazy that answer.
You’re supposed to be in a hostel economizing in many things, and one of theme is food, but if you can’t cook how are you going to save money.
It saves you a lot that at the other block you have a seven eleven and to the other side they sell cold lunches.
The internet also doesn’t work well for the bedrooms.
The service is ok. Not the best but it is ok.
And a good thing also is that they share to you some towels for the beach.
A/C didn’t work, bathrooms, aren’t clean, check in is terrible. I looked for something last minute because my travel plans got changed and eventually they denied me because I booked on third parry website. Customer service is
I felt safe, free breakfast, towels and sheets provided, air conditioner, bathroom/showers in rooms 4bed bedrooms have comfortable full size beds, refrigerator in room, closet with room for two suitcases, best of all 1 block from beach
Great hostel vibe. Reasonable priced unless of course you bring your car, then you must pay dollars per day if you're parking at the beach. Staff is nice.
Not even worth the price. Loud noises at all hours from staff and guests. They don’t even provide soap in the bathrooms. Gross. Pay the extra $10 and find somewhere else to stay.
