I don’t have the words great enough to express about the care they gave me at this hospital, never in my 51 years have I ever felt this much care, the staff are amazing, they made my stay there so happy and cared for! They deserve the hospital award of a lifetime! Thank you each and everyone of you for your dedication, professionalism and care from the heart!

My husband was brought by ambulance from a fall off a ladder, they left him in the waiting room bleeding for a long time. Once he got in the nurses were great especially Elizabeth. Nurse Terri as well she did a great job stitching up his ear. Dr. Bartlett was wonderful resetting his nose. Other than the wait it was a very good experience. Thank you for fixing my hubby.

Mackenzie Gould is AMAZING! The experience and attention she gave to my issues felt above and beyond. You can truly tell that Mackenzie loves her work. Every time I left our sessions, I felt relief from my pain.

Took my son as a he had a spider bite and we were told if the redness reach the marked dots to go to the ER. The ER nurse and nurse practioner were rude to my son and basically acted like he was a waste of their time. Embarassed him said it wasn't a spider bite that it was cellutis which is not true! I think SFBH needs to work on empathy and kindness to paitents. Your ER nurses are especailly rude and do not like to be inconvienced by having to do their job.

I work in a ALF facility and is very disappointed on the quality of care that my residents have received when returning from this hospital. On the 28th a resident was returned after arguing with a nurse stating that he was not ready, nurse ignore residents need for oxygen and concerns and was transported back to facility in which he died that same night before EMS.
Most of our members are arriving with catheter and no home health orders. Is having a bed more important than the quality of life. What is happening with our healthcare system? We have to do better.

Doesn't matter what happened to you all they seem to worry about is how many times you been there and who brought you! Shouldn't matter if i was there 5 times in a day! Just like it shouldn't matter that my friend brought me. Not to mention I fell out at his house!

This Hospital has done a lot for me! But My last visit was an over Confident Nurse who I told I was a hard stick, So after she sticks me for the third time she jumps back and in a high tone voice repetitively says I Give Up! NO ONE WONTS TO HERE SOMEONE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD START SAYING THAT, ESPECIALLY THAT WAY! They were short staffed so I felt ignored and just wonted to be back at home suffering more comfortably. Aggravated with being ignored even though they said they were short staffed it felf as if no one was taking their job seriously, while in pain and discomfort all I could here on the other side of the room was laughing and goofing off. I was very overwhelmed and offended by these actions. Couldn't imagine jail being worse than how comfortable they made me.

My husband broke his leg, arrived at the ER via ambulance, and the extent of how bad it was was never explained to him. As he had the temporary splint the EMTs provided, he could not move or get up without being in excruciating pain. He told a nurse he was in pain (8-9 on the pain scale) and that he had to urinate, and it was over 2 HOURS after he notified her that he was brought a urinal and oral pain relief. His leg was then set by an RN in the ER 10 minutes after he received the oral pain killer- before it kicked in- without sedation, blocking etc, and was told to “relax the muscle” in his leg that had 5+ fractures in it and “breathe”. We were then to be sent home with a paper prescription for narco, but after spending 6 hours in the ER all of the pharmacies had closed. They told us we could manage his shattered leg with Tylenol and Advil overnight. When I said I was not comfortable doing that, especially with our stairs to get into our house, they finally relented and kept him overnight for pain management. He had had only had a snack for lunch before the injury, and he was not allowed food overnight or in the morning because he was told ortho may do surgery on it. Ortho then reported in the medical file that they came in at 7: 30a and explained everything to him (THEY DID NOT), which my husband only found out that he wasn’t having surgery at 9: 30 when the nurse came in to give him more pain medication and he was told he’d be discharged soon. He said no doctor even visited him let alone explained what was happening. Ortho claimed the “closed reduction” done by the RN in the ER was adequate and that they would send him home with 18 hydrocodone (enough to get him through less than 5 days if he took it every 6 hours) and see him as an outpatient in 7 days for an X-ray recheck, and if needed they would do surgery around day 10 post injury (which also would’ve been thanksgiving, so we know that surgery wouldve likely been put off to two weeks post injury). They also then tried to schedule him for three times weekly physical therapy STARTING THAT WEEK. I fail to see how physical therapy would benefit a leg fractured in 6 places? Thank GOD my husband is a veteran, and his care was taken over at James A Haley VA hospital yesterday- where the surgeon did a CT scan, saw the extent, kept him overnight for pain management and operated immediately today. There are over 15 fractures affecting 5 different bones in his leg/ankle and 2 torn ligaments. Yet the ortho department at South Florida Baptist thought physical therapy would fix it. I am absolutely disgusted at both the incompetence and lack of quality patient care.

I keep receiving spam texts from this Baptist Health wanting me to apply for a job telling me I signed up for texts. I never signed up for anything. Cannot reply stop. You need to hire someone else to do your recruitment instead of spam texts.

They should be shut down immediately. They are nothing but liars. They tried to kill my wife. They also had me ready to commit suicide. It is unreal a hospital could put to people threw such a horrible situation. Then try to get your medical records. They give you what they want you to see. The nurseing staff is the worst of all. Chantelle the head of nursing such a liar. I know this is not the first one they have done this to and I’m sure not the last one God bless anyone who goes there.

Magnificent treatment and hospitality at South Florida Baptist Hospital. Grateful to Dr. Eugenio Quinones for his excellent work and dedication, as well as to the rest of the team that worked on my operation and recovery.

OT at Bloomingdale has provided me with more than just physical results. I have worked with and continue to work with Shannon. She is a positive force in my day. I could be having an emotional day but coming to see her automatically lifts my spirits. Emily who did my initial evaluation is also fantastic and thorough. Every encounter I have had with OT has been wonderful, from scheduling (Alex) to front desk, and Susan who I was lucky enough connect with to get mastectomy bras. What a lovely experience I’ve had! Thank you OT crew!

From the ER with Brenda to the third floor, EVERY single employee that I encountered was smiling and pleasant; I did not feel one bit of stress between the employees. All were available and willing to help me in any way. Frankly, I am truly shocked with the attention I received. I will NO LONGER hesitate to be helped by your hospital staff (instead of going out of my way to get to Tampa General or Lakeland Regional Hospital).
