Outstanding service from front to back!
I saw Dr Canady II for my knee injury. From the moment I hobbled into the office, the ladies at the front desk were welcoming and friendly. I had x-rays quickly and was interviewed by the nicest med tech. The Dr is as pleasant and professional as everyone said! The recommendations I recieved about him don't do him justice! Absolutely excellent person!
He's not your typical lab coat Dr either! He's extremely knowledgeable but shared that with me in MY language. He doesn't try to impress with medical terms. I completely understood what was is wrong and what the treatment plan is. He spent all the time I needed, not pushing to get to the next patient! He took all the time I needed to answer ALL of my questions.
How rare is that these days?
The impeccable customer service continued throughout the checkout process. These women who work on the front end and back end should teach a class on CS. South Florida Orthopedic is lucky to have them!

Quick appointment with Dr. U. Very nice and explained everything to me. My only issue is I can't sign up for the patient portal and I've called the office twice with no luck. Hope I have no issues with the injection in my spine!

My mom (Maria) has really bad back issues and needs surgery ASAP. My mom needed to prove that physical therapy wont help her since she has already tried and it was painful. Her surgery is supposed to be Friday. She told me that when she arrived today Kim, the front desk lady was extremely helpful and fit my mom in same day! This right here is what I like to hear. My mom needed help and Kim came to the rescue. I would def come here if I needed physical therapy because obviously they have great staff that cares. Thank you!

Shivam Upadhyaya was advising treatment for my back pain. Had question about scheduled medical procedure. Left numerous massages, no response. Needing to be proactive about my health I’ve moved onto another physician.

Dr Haas needs to retire…it was obvious as a patient he did not want to be there…his goal was to put in his 15 minutes & pass me on…

Dr. Carlson & his staff are amazing. Prompt, polite, & very helpful to fill your needs & questions. Very impressive & I recommend Dr. Carlson & his staff to anyone.

Dr. Kam is an arrogant young doctor that speaks in riddles. When asked a direct question of "What are my options for my broken arm" he became extremely nasty stating that he said four times the options. All he did was lecture me about the foundation of a house. That's not clear and concise options. His attitude needs a change. This is the second doctor at this facility that has had a serious attitude. Go ANYWHERE else.

I met with Dr. Connelly. The office was great checking me in and ran in an organized and timely fashion. Dr. Connelly was professional but seemed very impersonal and lacked a kind bedside manner. That's not necessarily bad but I never even saw a smile.
I rated him with 2 stars because his diagnosis was wrong. Even after x-rays he had his opinion but obviously wasn't paying attention to the details I gave him. He sent me away with a prescription for inflammation, instructions to ice and rest and some exercises. I followed his advice for 4-5 days and got worse each day. I knew something wasn't right but I definitely didn't want to see him again. I knew he would push more pills on me and that is not my style.
Instead I went to my chiropractor who listened intently and got to work. That same day I felt better and continued to improve. By time I had my 3rd visit with my chiropractor I was at nearly 100%. I should have seen him FIRST but I thought my problem needed a specialist. Lesson learned.

Tom Elu was a very educated PA that treated me today. In less than 15 minutes I was being evaluated/complete state of the art orthopedic xrays/with swift and pleasant staff. Tom spent a lengthy amount of time getting complete history and information about my needs. Within one hour of walking in I had a complete care plan and medications to begin relief of my problems. WAY BETTER than hours in Emergency room to get a referral to begin orthopedic care days later. Physical and mental relief right away.grateful to all

I had an appointment that I waited an hour for in the waiting room. Apparently (they told me this) there was some sort of mix up with appointments and to make things easier for themselves, they decided to just take all the people from the mix up day and throw them into this particular day that I was there. So everyone had to wait an hour. Screw this place.

On October 10th I had a total knee replacement performed by Dr William Carlson
He made it so effortless and I was fearful I heard there are so many stories about pain and of course you expect to have pain when you're having a major surgery and a new knee

Well, today is day 11 I had my follow-up and x-rays and Staples removed and I'm telling you I can breathe freely now and know o that it's done

they treated me so kindly and I'm still going there for follow-ups
PT starts next week and I'm actually starting to walk in only 11 days I recommend Dr Carlson 150%

I'm really disappointed in the Port St Lucie office, I never want to leave a bad review, but I got the bill for my visit in the mail today, and I'm super annoyed that 2 months has gone by and I never even got a call back from the"referred" physical therapist.

I' ll start by saying the doctor that we met with there (Moran) was really nice, personable and I had no issues with how he ran the visit.

I took my son in for a visit in September and they were going to refer him out to physical therapy in West Palm. A couple weeks went by, and I never heard anything from a physical therapist, so I called back in and they then faxed stuff over.

More than 3 more week went by and I never got a call back from their suggested PT. So I called back in, the lady seemed concerened enough - and they gave me the phone number to that company, and that company said, well the orders expired can you get them to send it again. Still no appointment.

I asked that PT company to refer us to the Port St Lucie office, and they said they need me to call SoFL Ortho again and get the order resent to the new office.

Called and left a message for "Records" and asked them to resend them to the new office. Didn't get a call back confirming they received the message and never got a call or communciation from the PT office.

A suggestion for going forward:
Since doctors offices often get benefits for referrals - a bettter way to run your business might be to pick up the phone, call that PT office, set up an appointment, give them all the info, fax the order, etc, and then let the client know that it was taken care of.

Not impressed the office didn’t confirm my appointment until the day of they asked me all the questions over the phone for my paperwork to “save time” then desk personnel had me re-fill out all the questions, and forgot to return my IDs. The office also told me they did not need my ER Summary visit, because it wouldn’t arrive in time via email.
The doctor was knowledgeable but wouldn’t let me explain my issue and didn’t provide any help as how to ease back into my athletic lifestyle. He also didn’t address the actual issues but lumped it in with the general area of the knee. He said I was good to go and if I still have trouble come back. I’d rather not go back due to the teams overall lack of communication and personal skills.

Dr Husted is a horrible man! Shows no concern whats so ever, has a God-like mentality and is very argumentative. His bedside manner is the worst. He is very rude, cuts you off mid-sentence and seems to blame all faults on the front desk or someone other than himself. He doesn't listen to his patients: says he has no time and he shows no empathy at all. We got the run around from this facility from day one.

I was very happy with my physical therapists, Chris and Christina! Both are excellent and I would highly recommend getting therapy here. Everyone is so nice and personable! Best therapists’ ever!

Dr. Carlson is the best. He is caring, understanding and very professional. The Physical Therapy located in Tradition was great. I had a reversed shoulder replacement, and for the first time in 3 years I can use my arm. Thank you Dr. Carlson. ️

I broke my arm and shattered my shoulder. Dr. Cerminara, who is such a kind, patient doctor, performed a reverse shoulder replacement. He then referred me to physical therapy in the same building. I can't say enough about this practice. I never had to wait, they were friendly and cheerful and I quickly became comfortable there. My PT, Mike G, was outstanding. I have never had PT myself before this but in my job with adults with disabilities I saw a lot of it. If you want someone to say "go do 20 of these" and then praise you, Mike is not your guy. He is serious and dedicated to restoring your well-being. He will help you push your limits and beleive me, you will feel it. He is very hands-on and carefully explains what he is doing and why. If, God forbid, I ever need this treatment again, I will request Mike G. He made every treatment count toward my recovery and I am most gratful to him.

P. S. Go early. Parking is a horror.
