In December 2022 I went in for a voluntary vasectomy. A healthy, pain-free young male. Following the procedure I experienced acute pain and discomfort. I went back to the doctor on 2 occasions after the procedure and was told to take OTC painkillers and see if the pain would subside. I came back in November 2023, nearly a year after the procedure with the same pain, unchanged. As an update to this review I went for a second opinion for my pain and was told that I have POST Vasectomy Pain Syndrome that was not the result of anything the doctor did wrong, but rather a risk of the procedure. My one star review is not for the fact this doctor offered very poor post vasectomy care, but the lack of empathy for my pain, and the failure to offer to help resolve my issue. I am now under the care of a different MD who is taking steps to address my pain and fix the issue. Be warned that PVPS affects upto 40% of men who get a vasectomy- while the procedure itself was performed correctly, this doctor gets an F in post-op care. This has nothing to do with my insurance, it has everything to do with a doctor failing to uphold his Hippocratic oath, and holding money above patient satisfaction. If I had understood the true risk of developing a pain syndrome, following this procedure, I would have never gotten it! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The staff all very efficient and friendly. I have always found this office to be well run! Test results called and reminders for appt date and time are more than expected. Dr. C is a pleasure to consult with, adequate time for answering questions given. Discussed plan of options for my condition.
