This clinic has been amazing so far. Compared to the Hospital in Nashville, TN, this has been amazing care. The team is polite and caring, and have gotten me the care I need quickly. The dr’s and nurses here are very helpful. I am very glad I moved to this area and established care here.

At the entire location everyone is awesome; the staff, the doctors, the care, eveything. Highly recocommended. I really like dealing with eveyone there.

I’ve been with this VA for 3 years.
I absolutely hate this VA location.
Nurses with bad attitudes when asking for a breast exam. Ignoring any requests. Ignoring any concerns with my health. Primary doctor haven’t seen him in 2years because they had to keep rescheduling. Got in a car accident and they said “we cant assist with your injuries, just go to the ER” went to the ER and they told me to get on to the nurses at this location for such terrible communication and compassion.

I want to take a moment to share my recent exceptional experience at the South Hillsborough VA Clinic.

My time there has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I believe it's crucial to recognize the outstanding service they provide to Veterans like myself.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional customer service. It's almost like having a Chick-fil-A down the street because the quality of care and attention I received was absolutely top-notch. Here's what made my visit so remarkable:

1. Dr. Glass, My Primary Care Physician: Dr. Glass possesses the best bedside manner I've ever encountered. Her professionalism is beyond amazing, and she followed through on every commitment she made to assist me. I'm truly grateful for her outstanding care.

2. Efficiency in Referrals: I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly referrals were processed. The VA clinic made the entire process seamless and efficient, ensuring that veterans receive timely care.

3. Mrs. Geraldine in Labs: Mrs. Geraldine, who handles the labs, is an absolute gem. Her kindness and compassion are unparalleled. She made the experience of getting blood work done feel safe and anxiety-free, much like having your favorite auntie by your side.

4. Welcoming Atmosphere: The entire staff at the clinic, from the receptionists to the security guard, greeted me with smiles and made me feel genuinely welcome. The security guard even walked me to my vehicle, extending a warm welcome to the area.

The South Hillsborough VA Clinic is a fantastic facility that goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care to Veterans. I can't express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding service I received during my visit. If you're a Veteran seeking top-quality care, I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic.

The best VA experience I have had yet. I’m definitely glad I switched from the Tampa location!

Twice my Appt.was canceled at the last moment (when I arrived at the clinic! Scheduling and communication is very poor. Dr's are rotated in and out so there is no continuity. I am going back to the main hospital as soon as I can.

I've tried to schedule an MRI a total of 5 times and even messaged my doc who told me they didn't have my paperwork. 3 if those times I had to go to the information window to submit the same documents 3 separate times. So how they didn't have my paperwork is beyond me. So far my experience with the VA has been extremely stressful.

I have had no problems there. The best thing I can say is it beats driving all the way up to Bruce B Downs Boulevard to the main hospital. Telephone communication could be better

SoHi is absolutely amazing! Unless you have ever lived in another state and had to endure their VA system, please stop complaining. The facilities, staff, availability of care in the Tampa area, request for Community Care and all services is BEYOND the BEST!
