I did not know anything about computers and laptops until Adam took the time to explain all questions I had. He did not rush me, nor made me clueless. He allowed me to ask anything even if it meant purchasing a product elsewhere. I brought my old cheaper laptop for a diagnostic and he told me everything that he could so that I could understand best how to move forward. I would highly recommend this place for repairs or for anything computer related

As happens with time, our computers get outdated and lack the ability to change with new devices and other technology, thus, they get old, and slow down, just like we do. Having this issue repeatedly, I did some research online, and went in to discuss my issues and options with Adam. Adam knew his stuff, and was able to look at my PC and determine why I was having the issues I was having. He was very understanding and informative. Basically, I had two potential resolutions, attempt yet another update to my ancient PC or, switch to modern technology. For me, it was a no brainer, I went with Adam's recommendation, for a new PC. Adam was not pushy in any way, and offered another potential solution, without a purchase, but, I decided, I would be better off, in the long run to replace my PC. I picked out the unit, Adam got everything from my old PC onto the new one, and I was good to go. Not being a technology educated, as I probably should be, I needed a bit of help re connecting my new PC to my three monitors. I spoke with Adam a few times, and he stopped by to help me finish the installation. South Lake Computers is my new place to go for any issues that come up. I can't recommend both South Lake Computers and Adam highly enough. For me, the bottom line is when you aren't sure how to proceed in a situation, seek an expert and follow their advice. That is what I did, and I'm sitting at my desk smiling. Thank you Adam and South Lake Computers.

I had a fantastic experience with Adam at SLC. I had a dead 2012 MacBook Pro and he got me set up with a replacement that looked like it had just come out of the box. Couldn't be happier!

I brought my laptop in at noon on Friday because the lid wouldn't open. I needed it for work over the weekend and Adam was kind enough to get it in a position that I could use it until parts were ordered. He was very honest and gave great advice on what is needed vs not needed. He's very knowledgeable and is willing to give me advice on a new laptop whether I purchase from him or somewhere else. He wasn't trying to push the sale through his store just to get the sale. We will definitely be using South Lake Computers from here on out for all of our computer needs.

The bezel came off my Dell laptop and my warranty had expired. When I went to SL Computers, instead of charging to fix it, they recommended that I tell Dell it was a common occurrence and they should fix it free. I did and Dell did. Thank you so much SL Computers.

I brought my gaming pc here to get some software problems fixed after upgrading my motherboard and cpu. I was greeted with the best service in the central Florida area i could ask for. I was informed my cpu cooler was defective and these guys ordered me a new cooler for my cpu by the next day and fixed all of my pc problems. As a software engineer I know when people know what they are taking about and South Lake computers really know it. Had an issue with my daughter's laptop and they were able to review it with me over the phone in less than 10 mins. Absolutely amazing service and great expertise. Keep up the great work guys!

Ethan and Adam have always been helpful when I have problems with my computer. Today, Adam was very helpful printing an email for me. In five minutes he printed an email with all attachments.

After calling around to a few locations, the technician that I spoke with from South Lake Computers stood out as the most knowledgeable and interested in my business. They aren't the absolute cheapest choice in town, however you get what you pay for-I wouldn't trust the cheapest choice handling my precious laptop.

The repair also ended up being about $50 less than I had anticipated. I thought I had needed to replace the cooling fan in my laptop, but it ended up just needing some cleaning. I know other places could have taken advantage me and charged me the amount I was ready to pay-but not at SLC. (The repair was very quick as well!)

Again, if you value outstanding customer service from a knowledgeable&honest staff-at a competitive price-then look no further than South Lake Computers!

****UPDATE**** This is still the BEST PLACE to go with all your computer issues! They are so kind and honest, and could easily take advantage of people who don't know computers-but they don't! This is still the only place I would ever take my laptop into, if I could give them 10 stars I would.

Wow! What an amazing place. First I want to thank them for their honesty. I brought in a computer that had a microsoft password like that of the FBI, They tried everything they could.kept me advised. AT the end of the day they couldn't break through it a 48 digit passcode, but what impressed me was #1 - The communication, and as salesperson myself, I strive on that, these guys were amazing with up to date answers (even though I didn't like them) - there was nothing they could do. At the end of the day, this will be my computer shop for many years! I appreciate the honesty hands down and the communication. Sometimes as business you can't fix what your customer wants, but when you communicate and your honest about, that goes a million miles, so I just want to say thank you for all you could do on my Seal Team Six security computer that came from amazon.

I had a power outage and my Gaming PC stopped working because of it. I took it to South Lake Computers and they were able to diagnosed the issue within hours. They were so professional and Ethan kept me in the loop the whole time by calling me every few hours and even leaving me voice mail when I did not pick up. I had to order a Power Supply so I waited few days to get it (Amazon) and once I provided them the part needed they fixed my PC the same day. I even had a new motherboard that I wanted to swap and they replaced it for me without charging me Extra. Their service fee was very reasonable. I love their Customer Service and I definitely recommend South Lake Computers for anyone that is having PC issues.

Adam and his wonderful team at South Lake Computers really are one of the last great computer stores. They are very knowledgeable about everything computer related. Adam was able to help me with my Windows XP sleeper machine after scouring the internet and multiple stores. He went way above and beyond to satisfy my needs. I cannot recommend them enough for your PC repair and builds!

Brought my self-built computer in with an issue that ended up being very statistically unlikely, and the team there fixed my computer for a very reasonable price. The team there, including Ethan, were very communicative and consumately professional at every junction of my repair. Would recommend to anybody in Clermont/Minneola that needs a computer fixed.

Simple user error in my computer build, preventing it from turning on. They were able to diagnose in 2 minutes. I know where to go for more serious issues in the future.
