We called South Lake after getting scammed from an electrician who couldn’t find out electrical problem and they were very courteous on the phone and offered to help us out financially since we paid someone else for nothing. They showed on the schedule date and time and took care of the problem right away. I would highly recommend them for your electric needs! Thanks South Lake! Glad y’all are here!

I scheduled an in home appointment and after waiting for the 2 weeks to pass, on the day of the scheduled appointment, SLE called me at 11am to cancel my 1pm appointment! I had cancelled an out-of-town trip on that day, but cancelled it to have my electrical problem fixed!
The rep.said the electrician called off work, but they waited until 2 hours before arrival time, to notify me! They didn’t have anyone else to send, but offered to reschedule me again in 2 more weeks! This company does work thru the Duke Energy Company in Florida, under Duke’s repair contract! Poor planning, poor customer communication!

Very courteous and knowledgeable staff, that goes beyond what is expected to make sure that the job is done right the first time!

Scooter did an excellent job. However, for a minor job South Lake sent 2 techs.which was unnecessary and overpriced. I contacted Joey, Supervisor South Electric, and queried the extra expense. His response was that Andy, the original tech who had done the Diagnostic visit several months ago had recommended 2 Techs. This recommendation was for an entirely different attic job requiring a dedicated line. Joey refused to disallow the extra charge which is very disappointing.

They are more knowledgeable and better priced than competitors! I highly recommend them! Andy and Scooter are awesome!
