I would give 0 stars if I could. They messed up our bill and charged us 3 months at one time and expected us to pay it all off at once and threaten to turn off our water. The employee we spoke to is very rude and talks over you. Such a shame this is the only place we can get water through.

They make paying your bill very difficult. It's 2021 I should be able to pay my bill online. I don't get a paper bill every month. There's no way to check my balance unless I call in.

The staff at South Martin are extremely helpful and courteous. We were out of state buyers and they could not have been more attentive in guiding us through the on boarding process. Their website might not be state of the art but if you call South Martin a human being actually answers the phone and helps you! If that is old tech I for one will take it everyday.

I just purchased a property in Hobe Sound. This is the most inefficient utility I've ever used. The folks there are unbelievable. They charged me $62 for an after hour call to turn on my water. I had called 3 days before to turn it on. Then they said the main line was off to the house and we should have known that. They did it and blamed us. The water was on the day of the closing and NO ONE would have done this. I told them I didn't want to pay an after hours call (during the day on Friday) so they never told me I had to pay a charge, or I would have told them I didn't want the service call as no one lives there yet. Rather than take off the charge as a courtesy they are pulling the answering service tapes so they can hear I did not want to pay for an after hour call. Also, We've had the water on for less than a month and the bill said the $62 was past due and we literally just got the bill. FYI: The only good reviews they have are from the employees. The first 5 star is from the director and he uses his own name. WOW!

Stuck in the stone ages. I was given one notice that my water bill hasn't been paid (I rent) and then found out there was absolutely no way to pay online with my magic plastic card. I had to buy checks and then physically bring them to the office to pay a bill. I can't even setup direct deposit because my name isn't on the property. Because OF COURSE I want to pay for someone else's water Then when I went there they couldn't even turn on my water EVEN THOUGH I paid before they closed. A complete joke of an establishment.
