I had a MRI for my dog Buddha on 6/16/21 and was told by the doctor himself that he would call me back within 24 hours to discuss the mass that was found on my dog’s spine. That call never happened. Today makes one week since my dog’s MRI and it’s a shame that as a customer, we paid them over $4,000 for the MRI and Have yet to hear back from the doctor. It’s very traumatizing for me to have to call EVERY SINGLE day worried about my dog to be told the doctor will call me back or he’s not in today or whatever answer except a discussion in a timely manner. I would not recommend a place that takes your money and doesn’t complete their service, especially for such a serious matter. Unacceptable.

Never heard back from Dr. Wong even though we called few times and asked to speak to him (well I shouldn't say "back" as we never heard from him at all). Another neurologist called us to go thru the visit summary but we asked to speak to Dr. Wong as we had more questions about the diagnosis and he was the one who attended to our baby.
I Was told by other patients parents that Dr. Wong has very bad bed side manner, very rude and short so that explains it.
Could have been 0-1 star if not for Dr. Divita who was/is great.

Update: to Dr. Wong, my pet name is BG.

My dog was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease after his MRI and as scary as these past few weeks have been after finding out, Dr. Wong, and his team have been absolutely incredible in every aspect. From the medical care Harvey has been receiving to the follow up calls and amazing customer service from the girls at the front desk and prescription department. Everything has been so stress free and it is always a great experience when I have called in with a question or brought Harvey in. I’m especially thankful for the time Dr. Wong took to call us and answer all our questions, it really put us at ease as we had no clue what we were dealing with after Harvey’s diagnosis. The attention to detail and care for not only the pets but their owners is something I haven’t experienced too often at other vets but they have mastered it here. We have a long road ahead with Harvey’s treatment and I have to say I am glad it is with this office, they are truly amazing.

Thank you!

I am so grateful and happy with the SEVN staff. After bringing my doggie Grace in due to her having several siezures, they quickly came up with her diagnosis, treatment plan which gave me peace of mind. Everyone ive spoken on the phone to (due to covid restrictions we can not go inside) is always friendly, informational and professional. Im glad I found them!

I was 100% completely satisfied with the service my baby Scooby received. The whole process was smooth from scheduling to the appointment. The Dr was so thorough that he answered all my questions before I even asked. I've been called 3 times since his appointment to check on him. The girls are all so nice and professional. Very happy with my experience with this office.

There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are to the team at Southeast Veterinary Neurology, especially Dr. De Pompa who did everything in his power to help our baby girl, Gaia.

After weeks of seeing her in pain and unable to walk, without any precise finding from her other doctors. A friend recommended SVN and within two days we had an appointment. After just observing her Dr. De Pompa found what was wrong, suggested the right studies, adjusted her medications, and after she was stable, they scheduled her for surgery which was exactly what she needed.

4 weeks later, our Boston Terrier (who another doctor suggested to put down) is now walking and living her best life. We’ll be eternally grateful to the SVN team, doctors, nurses, and staff. This team treated our puppy as their baby; while she was hospitalized they sent photos and texts twice a day, called every morning and afternoon with news about her progress and even today, they call every week to check on her recovery.

I HIGHLY recommend SVN! ️

We brought our dog Casper to Dr. Wong & Dr. Nick & their team in November 2020 because he was suffering seizures. We had been to 2 vets who worked diligently to stem the seizures but we decided on SEV after they were highly recommended by both vets Casper has been treated for some form of epilepsy, but all I can tell you is this practice and their ENTIRE TEAM (I can't remember all the names!) are BEYOND PHENOMENAL! It's hard to find good reliable professionals in Miami, and SEV is a true Godsend: they are always there for us, always keep the best interests of the pet in mind and not how much they can charge you, and even reach out and call us to see how Casper is when they haven't heard from us in awhile. There are no words to express our affection and appreciation for Southeast Veterinary Neurology.

We had a very bad experience with Doctor Fitz who took X-rays of our dog and after reviewing them, she informed us that she had found a mass in the abdomen, which was of life and death. She refused to give our dog any pain medication and urged us to take him to an emergency hospital immediately.

We rushed to an animal hospital and turned out that there was no mass found after performing an ultrasound test.

I was furious to learn this. I cannot express how mad I was at the incompetence and erroneous information we received.

I do not recommend that anybody gets his or her dog treated by Doctor Fitz.

I highly recommend Southeast Veterinary Neurology. My dachshund had an inter-vertebral disc disease that required immediate surgery. Dr. Fitz performed the surgery, and after a quick recovery, she was herself again. I not only recommend Dr. Fitz, but also Mavy- ICU Shift Head Nurse. She treated my dog with so much love and compassion that that I felt assured that she was in the best hands possible. Not only is Southeast Veteninary Neurology the best, but the staff gets an A+.

I saw Dr. Wong for my Cocker Spaniel's slipped disc. Although I did not have him perform the surgery, I was able to have a in-depth conversation with him regarding my dog and the care he received at Southeast Veterinary Neurology. Dr. Wong is professional, knowledgable and genuinely cares about the well being of his patients and their owners. He cared about my experience with him at the clinic and wanted me to walk away with comfort knowing he was there for us if we should ever need him down the road. He's an asset to the veterinarian community.

Dr. Wong followed up a few times by calling us to check on our dog. He is passionate in his practice and cares about his patients.

We were referred to SEVN by another animal hospital, we took our 2 month old puppy Linda that was bitten by another dog, they took her in immediately, they called us constantly to keep us updated, she was treated by Dr. De Pompa, he is amazing and will tell you everything straight forward and explains what he thinks is the best route, he really cares for the animals that they take in, also the nurse Ethan took his time in calling us multiple times to explain what they found and what they have been doing, he told us that everyone was in love with our puppy and that they made sure she was getting lots of love and attention. As well as Lauren from the front desk, she was a big help and everytime we called she was there to answer and she even knew who we were by the end of everything, I highly recommended this place to anyone, if I could rate more than 5 stars I would because they're not after your money and they truly care about the well being of your pet. Thank you to all the staff that helped us with Linda.

I was referred to this office by an ER because or Rott was completely paralyzed from one second to another. Because of the COVID rules, we had no choice but to hand over our most precious baby, Laika, to the staff (who we had never met) who came out to get her on a stretcher while we waited outside. I have absolutely no words to express how personal, professional and hands down amazing each and everyone was. The entire staff from admitting, to patient relations, to the nurses and the two amazing doctors were unbelievable. I received multiple phone calls with information as it happened and as it became available with each test result. I received follow up calls daily for the past two weeks and cannot say enough about the empathy and kindness that we were treated with. Laika is almost back to normal and I cannot thank you enough!
Thank you so much for taking such good care of one of our family members. You guys are the BEST!

Dr. Wong saved our baby girls life. He diagnosed her with a very rare neuromuscular disease in dogs called Myasthenia Gravis.

Dr. Wong prescribed some medicine especially made for Rio in a lab and as as soon as she started taking her medicine it was like a Miracle, she was back to her perfect craxy self again!

Now, a year after this ordeal first happened, crazy Rio is completely off her medicine, being her super crazy and awesome self! We just want to really thank Rios Human Angels for saving our baby girls life? We are beyond Happy and Grateful at casa de Mojo.

Our 6 1/2 year old Shepherd/Shar Pei mix, Jynxie, went from a slight injury to basically being paralyzed in just a few days. While we we're concerned with the unknown, after the consult with Dr. DePompa we felt confident proceeding with an MRI, which showed a ruptured disc. We went ahead with the recommended surgery. All we can say is this facility is one of a kind. The level of care they provided is priceless. Jynxie was walking with assistance the next day and continues to improve everyday. I love that they were very up front and honest about the risks, benifits and costs. Highly recommend SEVN! Thank you!

Update: almost 1 year later and Jynxie is doing amazing! 2 walks per day, weight is good and she's as happy as ever, thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby!

Had to bring Jynxie back for an issue unrelated to her prior surgery today. Again, the level of care and professionalism that was provided to our fur baby was amazing, they fit us in last minute and gave us options and we will follow up. Amazing staff and can't say enough good things about SEVEN!

Great technology and explanations of imaging; however the medications prescribed to my dog made him cry from pain even when Just lying down. Previously to the prescribed medication he only cried when he moved. After two photos of bloody stools and two bad nights they finally got back with me to tell me to stop the prednisone. The crying stooped after the withdrawal of this drug. I feel Awefull that three out of the five last few days of his life were spent in pain due to bad prescribed medication. He was the sweetest dog and deserved better.

My vet referred me to Dr. Reese when Mia, my frenchie, x-rays showed an abnormality. I am usually very skeptical of doctors and was sure they would recommend all kinds of expensive tests and in the end surgery. I was very surprised when he said he recommended we try medications and very limited activity first. Everyone in the office was so nice and caring. I highly recommend.

The best experienced I've ever had with a Vet. They absolutely go above and beyond. Dr. De Pompa was great and very knowledgeable. Everyone in the staff is great, specially Ethan.

Terrific service. I took my Aussie here and they took great care of her. They called me 3 times per day to update me on her status. Being in the medical field, I'm familiar with a lot of the diagnostic testing. Canine seizures can be very difficult to determine the cause of without the necessary testing.

Dr. Wong saved my Missy's life. She was mis-diagnosed from another vet but I took her to an excellent 24 hr after-care who referred me to Dr. Wong. My Missy has encephalitis of the brain is currently on meds but has regained all her cognitive abilities and you could never tell she was or had seizures. It's been 4 years later and she still seizure free.
Thank you Dr. Wong and your awesome staff for always taking the best care of my Missy.
