I have not read 1 review if there's transwomen come to this bar. Or is it just gay guy bar?

If you're looking to get your phone stolen and for unhelpful bouncers: look no further this place is the one for you.
Shame because the overall vibe is nice.

Extremely rude little short girl at the door. Waited in a long line to get in. Right after me and my entire friend group paid and hadn't even gotten to the bar we were asked to leave. We asked why as we hadn't even had an interaction with anyone yet. She refused to give us an answer. We were kicked out 1 minute tops after 6 of us paid a cover. (No money back) Unknown to us the bar next door is part of the complex we decided to just go there. She approached us again this time with a police officer. We told him we were unaware the places were connected. She then said infront of the officer we were involved in a fight inside the club we paid to get into just moments before. Impossible. It's crazy this little girl can just throw people out on a whim for whatever reason, then lie to cops to have a person face false charges. Unreal.

Read through the comments, and security here likes to be violent with guests for no reason. Saw the whole team beat up a gay guy. Just kick people out. They were grabbing and rubbing up, and they take advantage not cool. Crazy it's supposed to be a safe place.where's management!? !? Get new staff!

Stop going to this place if you want to have a fun night out! High prices, bad atmosphere and rude staff.

Being an aviator around marijuana is really concerning and annoying. Do it somewhere else. It’s worse than cigarette smoke smells. I don’t care what people do, but use common sense and be considerate.

Don't bother here. Security is a mess and can't securely protect you. The problem is the inept blob @ district, connected establishment.
I would not go to a club like this with such ineffective security ruled by a bigoted jerk.

The security manager said my id was fake and turned me away. I have a Sioux Tribal ID which yes that’s federally recognized and that should’ve been identification enough to get me in, but the manager and the employees were rude. I was just trying to have a good night.

Good atmosphere, cheap drinks, but they only play music in English, and that's fine, we are in the USA, from there you can be free, love is love!

Been going to this place for over ten years, since I was 18, back when it was Revolution, it then changed to Southern. I used to enjoy it a lot, but now it is constantly overcrowded, poorly ventilated (extremely hot), and lacks quality service. The area for the performances (the theater) is way too small for what the amount of people they allow. They allow too many people inside the showroom for shows, creating it to be very unsafe. After the Pulse incident, you'd think they would care a bit more about the safety of their 'family. ' Overcapacity to the point my wife fainted due to the lack of ventilation, poor ac, and packing the place like sardines. She wasn't even intoxicated. It was so crowded you couldn't move. When I asked the bartender for water as she watched my wife faint at the bar as she tried to get water, she just stood there and never gave us water but proceeded to tell us she needed fresh air (DUH). Too bad we couldn't get outside fast enough due to the hundreds of people packed in! What used to be an enjoyable experience is now a nightmare, from parking to lines to space. If you ever want to see a drag show with a special guest, call ahead and get reserved seating, or else you will be stuck in a small and overly crowded space with people breathing on your neck, dripping wet, and struggling to breathe. This place most definitely prioritizes profits over the well-being of its customers. They must be in violation of exceeding capacity.

Don’t go this place unless you wanna be kicked out with no explanation, lied to by security/bouncers that you can talk to someone with “a black shirt” to see why you’re being kicked out, be left with bruises, and to top it all off be traumatized. It sucks because this club is supposed to foster a community and safe atmosphere but I was met with aggression, lies, hostility, and passive aggressive-ness. To the female bouncer/security officer that gave me a dirty look, you know who you are and I hope you’re happy with what you created. To the male security officer who forcibly removed me and scarred my body, thank you. I would post the pics of my bruised wrist and hand but it’s not letting me. All of this occurred after I stood on top of a wooden bench that I was not aware I was not allowed to stand on. No signs, nothing telling me that said behavior was prohibited. When asked to get off of the bench as well, I gave no trouble. Two other people were also standing on said bench and I guarantee you, nothing happened to them. So why me is my question? I was silenced, not given an opportunity to communicate, and censored. All I have now is my voice and I want answers. I will not be silenced, and I will not be played the fool in a space that I paid to be in. After getting manhandled out of the club I hear the female bouncer that escalated the situation talking about me as well. It’s clear to see that she had a problem with me for whatever reason—I don’t even know her. To top it all off, another security officer told me he didn’t know what was going on, and that I was good to stay in the club. I want names, I want answers, and I want action. Something needs to change in this club because what happened to me tonight should not have happened—in a space I thought I was allowed to exist in freely and be myself, a space that promotes inclusivity, positivity—I was met with the complete opposite end of the spectrum.

I was having a bad time, but Zee made me the absolute best gin and tonic…no words. Def coming back. Ask for Zee. Just wow.

The bartender literally harassed me when I asked for some water. She even walked towards me and touched me on my shoulder. It was so scary. I left the club immediately. I don’t think I’ll be able to come back again.

Worst night out experience ever. It was too crowded, we had hard times even to breathe. Just because of that, we couldn’t stay longer than an hour. My friends couldn’t have fun because the staff were all too rude. I didn’t think it’d be a mistake to take my friends to this place for a fun night out.
And $10 for an entrance? On their anniversary? And $14 for a drink in a small plastic cup? That was unbelievable. I think it was a rip-off. Even Miami is much cheaper. No more Southern for me and all my friends.

The way the male staff speaks to female patrons is unacceptable! I’ve been coming here since Southern was called revolutions. I even worked here at one point. It used to be so fun and carefree, but the experience I had last night, and being disrespected by a male was disgusting, and completely ruined my night. I was literally only there for the last hour. If you don’t like your job, get a new one! I’m a woman and I work out in the sun all day doing a man’s job, and I still don’t have the nasty attitude that some of the staff members have. Your job isn’t that hard. Some of the gay staff members just go around disrespecting women and talking to them any kind of way. I definitely had to set him in his place! A security guard even witnessed this and listen to the whole situation, with his eyebrows raised. And it’s sad, because it wasn’t even a Patron, it was somebody working at the club! I’ve never had issues there, until this new staff came along! I’m in my 30s, I’m not these 22 year olds out here causing any problems. I spend good money for over a decade, and I take care of my bartenders and tip very well! I’ve never been in a fight or cause any issues. I even left early, because that was completely uncalled for! I’ve never been spoken to by a man like that. He should not be working there honestly, and I should not have to be in defensive mode when I’m supposed to be out having fun after working hard all week and spending my money there.

I’d give zero star if I could. 1 star is a very good review for this place. If you have a little bit sanity, don’t ever go to this club. Overpriced, overcrowded.
