Southernmost Beach Café, Key West FL

It's very unassuming but putting out some good food. We ate there for breakfast 4 of the 5 mornings, and everything was pretty tasty. The real treat for us was we brought fish in that we had caught earlier in the day, and the chef prepared us an unbelievable meal. It was just the perfect anniversary meal. It was probably the best meal we had that week. Just awesome!

I had high expectations but the food really was average, the lobster which they at first told us wasn’t available was at the last minute but it was undercooked. The margaritas were good so maybe just drinks and an appetizer if you come? The view is great but there were a lot of flies. The waitress never even asked us how we enjoyed our food.

High priced food and service for the scenery. They include the tips in the bill so servers personalities are dull and rushed.

Great location! Not real fancy. Staff was nice but not extraordinary. Stayed at the resort 4 days.only ate there the first day. Was not good enough to return.

Had the breakfast burrito that was fantastic. Service was attentive and had a nice view of the water. I would definitely recommend it.

We love the couple who work the weekend shift (bartenders)! They are personable and always make us great drinks! Food is always yummy too. Loved the nachos on the happy hour menu. Can’t beat the view

The side salad with the balsamic vinaigrette was very good. Their take on a Cuban sandwich was also good.

However, the conch fritters and coconut shrimp were just okay. Both tasted like they had previously been frozen, which you might not have expected in Key West.

Also, the draft beer wasn’t as cold as it could have been, and the taps need cleaning.

With that said, the atmosphere and scenery were great and I don’t regret my meal there.

The food was average compared to what I would expect on a vacation to Key West and for the price I was a little disappointed. You are paying for the view and that’s fine. I believe I had a plate of pink shrimp which were yummy. I went for a ghost/dark side of Key West story night and really enjoyed it. I would recommend if you are looking for a good view just expect to spend about 40-60 bucks per person.

Service is HORRIBLE! You’re on their time…reading, phone calls, gossip sessions with other workers.

Very beautiful views of the water from the majority of the tables. We typically come here for a "nicer upscale" dinner during our keys trip. Steak and lobster were delicious!

Be honest about this place, great location but service and food they need to do more for these prices. Overall 2 stars.

Hot and flat draft beers. Food is cold and not good at all. Also service could have been better. Believe me stay away. We walked up to the place and it was empty on happy hour but decided to give it a try anyway, big mistake.
