Southside Baptist Church (Brandon, FL)

I have spent most of my life in church and serving in many areas over the years. I’ve been apart of Southside Baptist Church (in Brandon) for about 5 years.
I can honestly say that I have learned more about doctrine, theology, and Christ in the last 5 years than in the previous 34 years before. I have grown so much in my walk with Christ under the leadership of Southside Baptist, and I am eternally grateful for what God has done in my life and the life of this church in the last several years. If it’s not apparent, I highly recommend Southside Baptist Church. Super family friendly, Christ centered and unapologetic on the supremacy of Christ Alone. Soli Deo Gloria.

It is really sad how this Church has gone down hill. I remember having church in the big building and having great fellowship and having gatherings and dinners in the atrium. This church was once growing and thriving. Now it is being held in the small chapel. The so called leadership has broken the liveliness it once had, I don’t see this place having its doors open much longer, if it does it will be surprising. The only way I see it happening if they get new leadership and going out visiting and spreading the word.
