What a great experience. They pride themselves in providing actuate history in an interactive platform. This is one of my favorite places in St Augustine for that simple reason. It is a must visit if you are looking for historical truth and not fabricated hype. Well done to the staff and the curator.

Very informative and welcoming to out pup too. Went to the night show first and the day the next. Completely different staff each visit. All fantastic.

The Quackery tour at the Spanish Military Hospital was the best thing we did during our whole week in St. Augustine and we did a ton. The Doctor was amazing and all the stuff he told us about was awesome. I would definitely not miss this event!

My fiance and I came in yesterday and we loved our presentation. We were lucky enough to have only 2 other people in our tour so our guide was able to personalize everything to our knowledge and experiences which was fascinating. (I wish I could remember his name, I'm horrible). I'm only curious, was this a walk through self guided museum at one point? I feel like I've been here before but it was very different. Still enjoyed it and wish we could have had our guide for a little bit longer!

Very informative. About a 45 min guided tour. Me my husband and 10yo daughter had a good time. She learned a lot. Being homeschooled this was perfect.

Jose, our guide for the tour, was knowledgeable and entertaining, willing to answer any questions, and an absolute delight to converse with. I had a trepanation "demonstrated" on me, with the able assistance of another member of our group. I have been through many museum guided tours, but this was, without a doubt, the best. Highly recommended, and WILL come back for this museum and tour

Fascinating how they used tools similar to today! Definitely related to the well-descrbed procedures! Our docent was VERY knowledgeable, and she made this a don't-miss tour!

This presentation was both entertaining and informative! The hour went by rapidly. It was worth the money.

The presenter was fantastic. Full of energy and charisma, he presented to us the messed-up cases of medical malpractice throughout history. This specific tour is only 18+, so minors will not be able to attend. It has minor interactive moments which really flesh out everything. The presenter is knowledgeable in the topic of past awful medical ideas, and the pace is neck-breaking (which I find to be a good thing). I would heavily reconsider purchasing another ticket just to support their endeavor alone.

Really enjoyed the Quackery tour. Presenter is enthusiastic and knowledgable. Great gift for the doctor in your group.

Great museum experience. The doctor's do a really good job of explaining and demonstrating. Plan on spending at least an hour here.

Though small, the museum display was very informative. The jewel, though, was our guide. She is very knowledgeable about the period, answering our questions about minutiae of the era. She told us facts that were obviously part of her own research. It was one of the two highlights of our visit to St. Augustine.

The Quackery in Medicine tour was very interesting, and informative. The guide was lively and amusing. If you are interested in the beginning of health-care treatment, this is it.

It's a very interesting take if you're interested in the history of medical procedures. It's mostly a lecture/explanation of how things were done. There are a lot of medical instruments that were used for different procedures and you can look at them. There are also different herbs that were used to make medicine and such and they explain how and why they were used.
