I was about a year overdue for an upgraded modem. I was told by the tech I could just make an appointment and go in to exchange my old unit for the new one. It literally took me about 5 min once I walked in the door to be helped and out the door. Fastest service anywhere.

I am upset with spectrum they overcharge they don't never answer the phones are they hang up on you when you need to fix your bill or anything for that matter I'm really disappointed

Was a bright house customer for years started having problems since 2016.wow that's when spectrum bought then out have been having problems every since then!

I would like to recognize Mrs. Sheryl for the patience, and excellent customer service she provided!
At the beginning of my call I was not satisfied; Mrs. Sheryl changed all that. She was able to identify, and resolve my problem effortlessly. Mrs. Sheryl from the Call Center is Amazing!

Typical cable company. Person on phone tells you one thing. Store tells whole different thing. Will cancel my services as fast as I can arrange with a different company. Very pricey. $$$$

Long line. Only one person work but she is really nice. Not her fault. She said they all call in sick. But the company should have some failsafe protocol. If all of them call in sick?

Terrible service, several times we have tried to return equipment the line in 20 deep at least, with only 2 people working. This is not a company I would recommend.

Long line. Waited 1 1/2 hours. Employee, she was so nice and helped a lot. Not crazy about having to have in my home by the prices for me on monthly S. S.they got ya!

Line was very long 3 out of 5 registers were open. I also had to compromise on my cable box. The person working told me that you can't get a box that can watch what is recorded from a different box. I know they have them because I have one

Salesman said one thing when he came to door that acustomer rep at counter contradicted with an "oh well" attitude. I was going to ask about upgrading our services but after being dismissed and disappointed, I just left

Customer service is slow, terrible. After standing in line for 40 minutes they tell me to come back because im not the account holder even though i have permission to switch out my modum. Find a different internet and tv provider. Dont waste your time

Already had Spectrum cable and added high speed internet. Quoted price of $49. Already had all connections from previous home owner. Promised $35 install charge, but bill statement was $99 install charge for plugging in a router. Average monthly bill since January 2018 is over $85. Bundled service is advertised as just $29. Support unwilling to adjust rates. Service is as fast as advertised, just not priced as advertised. If you can use another service for high speed internet, go with the other service. Unethical, cutthroat company.

One of our cable boxes was intermittently not working. We called Spectrum and were told that no, they could not deliver a new box to us, we had to go to a Spectrum store to exchange it. Okay, fine, a little inconvenient (and not the way Bright House operated - we always had great service with them), but not a huge deal. We exchanged the box for a new one yesterday (Saturday, July 28,2018), brought it home, hooked it up, tried to call to activate it (yes, you have to do that), and were at first unable to get Spectrum to activate it or to speak with anyone (we kept being put into an infinite loop on their wonderful phone system).

Finally, early in the evening, we were able to speak with a customer service representative. She unsuccessfully tried (or said she tried - you’ll see why we no longer believe a word Spectrum has to say) for 20-30 minutes to activate the box. At 7: 30pm, after scheduling us for a Tuesday evening service call, she agreed that since we were erroneously told we had to go pick up the box to begin with she would have “dispatch” call us within 90 minutes (in other words, no later than 9pm), to see if they could get a service truck to us much sooner given this whole thing happened because we were given wrong information to begin with. Sounds great, right?

Except that 9pm last night came and went with no call. We called Spectrum back at around 9: 50pm. After being on hold for 15 minutes, we reached another customer service representative. He informed us we hadn’t received a call back because they can’t call back after 9pm (yes, they were supposed to call by 9pm, but okay, if they hadn’t been able to get to us by 9 and then couldn’t make the call, we can understand that - although we should have been told that might happen). This customer service representative again tried unsuccessfully to activate the new box, and then told us that we’d receive a phone call NO LATER THAN 9: 30am THIS MORNING to see about scheduling a service call sooner than Tuesday evening.

It’s now 11: 30am. We have received no call. Nor, do we believe, were we EVER going to receive any call. And so, we’ll again be calling Spectrum today, and we have no doubt Spectrum will again apologize, and then again will do.absolutely nothing.

As we said before, when our cable was with Bright House, we were always satisfied with everything. With the service. With the reception. Even with the price. Since Spectrum took over, our reception has gone downhill - lots of breakups in our picture, our monthly bill has gone up substantially, and the service.well, that’s what I wrote about above - plainly put, it sucks. So we’re going to spread this review as far and wide as we can. And we’ll leave Spectrum with this question: should we pay more for worse reception and service, or should we maybe look to other alternatives. Spectrum, what say you?

Update - We spoke with another Spectrum customer service representative today. Who told us that their records showed “dispatch” attempted to call us at 8: 43am this morning. Um, no. We received no call. We actually have phones that show any incoming calls, and we had none. We told the customer service representative this, and, guess what, big surprise, she apologized to us. And at 12: 45pm, the rep told us we’d receive a call within an hour. No later than that. Promise. It’s now almost 2 hours later, and.wait for it.we’ve received no call back yet.
