Nothing like the log flume at six flags. Your basically taken on a slow country ride inside the mountain before the final drop. The creepy animatronic animals scenes are just animals torturing each other.

Absolutely love this classic Disney attraction! It’s a shame what is going to become of this ride soon with the retheme of the attraction. I can only hope that Disney puts the time and money into this that it deserves when it gets the Princess and The Frog overlay. Have a Zippidy Doo Dah Day everyone!

My absolute favorite ride at Magic Kingdom, you will definitely get wet, but it's kinda refreshing given how hot a Florida summer day can get. Just try to keep the water from getting into your mouth! For a larger person it was fairly uncomfortable, took most of the first lift to find a comfortable way to sit.

Splash Mountain is one of if not the best Disney attraction ever. Splash Mountain features the tales of Brer Rabbit being chased by Brer Fox and Brer Bear. Splash combines dark ride with thrill ride because at the end you go down a 50 foot drop. So Splash Mountain is a great ride and should be at the Disney Parks forever #savesplashmountain

This ride will always hold a special place in my heart.
Get a ride on it before they change it.
Brer Rabbit won’t be there much longer.
Another absolute Disney classic.
You may get wet

Straight a classic! Such a nice relaxing cruise with excitement at the end. You don’t get to wet. Animatronics are very well done. Decorations are amazing too!

They will soon be modifying the decorations for princess and the frog which hoped will be excellent! Highly recommend this 10 minute long ride!

Great water ride. It’s based off Songs of the South movie in the 1940s. The movie itself is a bit antiquated and boring except for the cartoon parts, which is exactly what the attraction is loosely drawn from.

10 minutes long log flume that takes you through the whole story Breer Rabbit story via animatronics.

I know it’s called “Splash Mountain” but you barely get wet, on the multiple small drops and the giant during the grand finale.

Not that I’m complaining. I actually like water rides that don’t leave you drenched at the end now you’re walking around with soggy.

I gotta say, I’m always scratching my head when I hear people talk about getting soaked.

I’ve been on this ride 10+ times, at least, including today which makes 11, and I’ve never gotten anywhere near soaked. Barely drizzled. Like I get about as wet on this ride as I do Pirates of the Caribbean, which is nothing.

Sometimes the front row gets a little wetter but really, not by much. Today I rode in the front seat and got a tiny splash on my right arm. So either people love to exaggerate or I’ve just been incredibly lucky every time.

One of the best rides! The drop is so cool, and it makes you feel like you're falling! If you're into big drop rides, this is the one for you!

This is a great ride. I went on this riddle and was immensely satisfied with my experience. I I was walking by this ride when it was closed for maintenance, so there was no one around. However, when I walked right by the entrance it opened back up because the maintenance was all done. Because of this, I got to go on the ride without having to wait in line at all. I got on the ride’s boat and the ride started. It went over a very small hill at the beginning. The boat went through a room which had lots of bears and other animals. After going through that room the boat went up another hill, which was bigger and steeper. The boat went over some more small hills before going outside of the building splash mountain was in. The outside part was flat, so the boat slowly went through it. Once it went back in the building, the boat went down the massive hill that you see up front. The boat went down very fast, which was very fun. Once the boat went down the hill, it went back to the starting area. I got off the ride, satisfied with my experience. I gave this ride five stars because it’s very fun, having my lots of ups and downs through out. This ride is easily and most definitely the best ride at Walt Disney World.

This is my absolute favorite ride in all of Magic Kingdom! It combines thrills and theming into one single ride. If you're looking to get soaked, try sitting in the front row, you'll get drenched!

Great ride. However I understand they are changing it's theme after this year. I will miss the classic of brer rabbit and the tar baby.
