American Restaurant Splitsville reviews
13We had a great family spring break with the kids.it wasn't too crowded and the wait for bowling was about 30-40 mins. So we just grabbed a table to eat but we got called for our lane before the food came out so we didn't wait that long. Luckily they brought our food to the lane and we got it popping. Laila was so sweet and helpful and very attentive, the only thing I didn't like was the food all came out at separate times so instead of everyone eating together others sat there and watched but Laila was so apologetic and made it up so all in all we had so much fun.
Ridiculous! 9 calls and they don't answer. I will take my corporate event elsewhere. There is nothing worse from management when they do not have someone ready to pick up the phones. I tried and tried, no excuses. You cannot be away from your desk or helping with an event when a business calls. You need to have an operator waiting for calls. Terrible impression and I haven't even been there yet. Shame on you guys!
Drove from St. Pete with grandkids, and paid $6.00 to park. Got to the door and sign says Closed for Private Party. Nothing on website to indicate not open to public. Call ahead before going. Kids were very disappointed.
We had a good time at the bowling lane, the lane close twice because the balls would stop coming out. Then we had an awful experience with the lady at the bowling check in, but then her manager fixed the situation. The food is ok (its what you'd expect at a bowling alley)
Amazing service and great food. Nice family friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to going back again soon.
Went there for my wife mother's birthday and she ordered some food and specifically asked for no pork due to her religion but while in the middle of her dish she found pork in it. Manager did not come out to the table even though we requested to speak to him/her but was given some measly coupons. Then while we were bowling the lane kept shutting down. Definitely not a good visit. Make sure you check your order as the kitchen have been messing up.
We had a snack and some drinks. Food was great and wait service from Jinil was EVEN BETTER. Thank you a nice lunch
I was really disappointed with our visit to Splitsville in Tampa. I went expecting the same awesome food and vibe as the Orlando location. Sadly it was not. The menu selection is basically fries, chicken and burgers. We took our little one to celebrate his birthday, the bowling was fun, but the food was definitely not worth the money. We ended up spending close to 300.00 for 2 rounds of bowling, 4 kids meals, 2 appetizers, a chicken sandwich, and a chicken salad. If you're going to bowl go for it just don't expect good food.
We were here for a 60th surprise birthday party and enjoyed bowling, playing pool, personal just made by service, and no wait times for drinks.
I ate here while visiting Sparkman Wharf. I'm pretty sure they accidentally built this restaurant here thinking it was the airport. Other than planes landing and taking off, it had the same quality you expect at an airport restaurant. I ordered an over priced mediocre chicken sandwich with an overpriced premade margarita out of a machine. Be aware they only have canned beer, which I would not purchase since there's a great beer garden right outside. The service was quick and friendly, even though they were busy. I would suggest only going there to go bowling. Drink outside at Lighthaus Beer Garden beforehand.
Mean girls energy. Hostess was extremely rude. So rude I ordered drinks but decided to eat elsewhere. I used to come to Splitsville all the time but I don’t think I’ll return if the staff is acting so horribly. They went out of there way to try to make us uncomfortable.
Horrible communication at this place, sat there a hour just for them to tell me i had to wait another hour
Cute place, but…
Employees were clueless, made us prepay and then didn’t give us enough time to play what we purchased.
Bowling lanes seemed very “off” not sure exactly what was going on.
