Sportman's Cove, McIntosh FL

Located in the midst of a very charming historic residential neighborhood and right off of Orange Lake. We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our road trip from Florida to Oklahoma, as we’re camping along the way it was so nice to have a hot shower (bathrooms are SO nice). The grounds manager and neighbors were all super hospitable and a pleasure to meet. We would 100% stay here again— and if YOU do then you won’t want to miss out on a walk around the historic neighborhood; make sure you stop at the antique shops for great finds and even greater shop owners

Paid in advance. Pulled in, looked around, did not feel safe and left.

Terrible! First had trouble getting a call back to make a reservation. Finally got through to someone and made a one night reservation (should have been my first clue). Arrived today and the manager had no record of a reservation. He gave us a spot for the night, problem was that it was already occupied with someone taking up 2 spots as a pull thru. Called the manager again and was given a second spot that was even more terrible. This place appears to have a lot of full time residents with no controls or restrictions in place therefore very trashy, old and dingy. Would highly NOT recommend this place for travelers. Supposed to be a Good Sam's park, if so it is the worst I have seen.

If you want peace and quiet with a laid back atmosphere this is the place. Yes there is older campers and long term residents. The washers and dryers work. The bath house is clean. Some sites have shade.

Very run down old trailers very dirty need power washing at the least. The park definitely needs a big overhaul

Was a very clean and beautiful area. Right on the lake. The town was super pretty and quite and the people were all nice! Definitely stay here again. The park and the area was so nice to walk around in and the camp ground was well maintained and we were very pleased! Beautiful area. Couldn’t get enough of that!
