SPORTSMAN'S PRESERVE Quail Pheasant & Chukar Hunting in Florida

Gary was exactly what we were looking for. My brother dad, and I are beginners and were looking for a knowledgeable guide who had well-trained dogs and could offer an enjoyable afternoon. Gary was professional and a pleasure to work with-we will definitely be back!

The hunt was fantastic! Very well organized and very pleased with the service. Gary was great and knows how to run a very well structured hunt. Quail were nice and healthy and flew great. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great quail hunt.

First time doing a pheasant hunt in FLA. Gary had great recommendations on best time of day to hunt and birds that flew very well making for a challenging and fulfilling hunt. Gary is very accommodating to those that would like to use their own dogs and we used the second half of our hunt with Gary’s dogs and they were terrific. Landscape is hilly and picturesque, looking forward to going back. You won’t be disappointed, Gary runs a great operation.

My husband booked a pheasant hunt with Gary and his dog and he loved it. First thing out of his mouth when he got home was " I got the bug" and was looking at his schedule to book another hunt.

We booked a 2 man Pheasant hunt with Gary. We had one of the BEST experiences hunting ever. The picturesque landscape, skilled guide (Gary), and well-trained dogs made it an unforgettable adventure. I booked a pheasant and chukar hunt for my dad's birthday. I had never hunted before and wasn't sure what to expect, but the experience was enjoyable. The preserve is a pretty location. The hunt itself was a fun activity for my dad, who has shot birds before. The birds were cleaned for us, and we were able to take home two bags of birds. Gary was very patient with me as I was getting the hang of things, and his dogs were efficient and well behaved, as well as cute. Overall, would highly recommend for those who enjoy an interactive hunt.

My husband and I booked a hunt for quail with Gary. This is our second hunt with him. He is a great guide and we love seeing the dogs doing what they love. Hunted at the sportsman’s preserve a couple of times this year. Initially I went out in February with my son and our GSP. That was enjoyable.

Then I went out in March with two of my brothers, my son and our GSP. Each time, Gary was on time, organized and provided a good hunt. His dogs worked well and the Sportsman’s Preserve is a good value.

Can’t wait to go out again!

My dad and I had a great hunt. Gary runs a top notch operation. Between the quality of the quail in the field, the dogs he uses and the ragging between hunters for misses it made for an amazing experience. Would highly recommend this outfitter and cannot wait to book again in the near future.
