SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orlando at FLAMINGO CROSSINGS Town Center/Western Entrance

Stayed here for four nights to visit the Disney parks and it served me well. The attendants at the front desk were super kind and helpful and assisted me with anything I had questions about. I’ve stayed here twice and the second time my room inexplicably smelled like vinegar. I’m not sure why. The hotel provides two shuttle trips to the Disney parks and I think two returning shuttles later in the evening. The breakfast served every morning has tons of options and was pretty good.

Clean rooms, great location. Rated service at 4 stars because our interactions with staff were all pretty mediocre, nothing bad but nothing special.

I have to say I’m a little suspicious of all these perfect 5 star reviews for this hotel. There aren’t enough issues to ruin your stay but there are definitely more than a few. The price is reasonable which helps.

Here are the problems we encountered.

- the shower water smells and the water pressure is low
- our room had a sliding bathroom door that would not stay open.
- they put the bathroom door right at the foot of the beds with an opaque window door so if mom or dad wanted to shower and let the kids sleep it was virtually impossible to accomplish that without them hearing it and being blinded by the light from the bathroom.
- the heat/ac was loud with a buzzing sound. There were a few times where we had trouble sleeping from it.
- the rooms are so poorly designed in so many ways.
- the closet door is loud and creaky
- the shower door leaks water onto the floor every time you shower even if it’s completely closed
- the single tv is positioned so that it’s only close to one of the beds. They didn’t want to spend the money to put a second tv in the living area so they just put one tv in an awkward spot.
- the fridge isn’t on when you check in so don’t plan on relying on it. It only turns on for so long and will automatically shut off.
- there is only one towel hook in the entire room/bathroom. And they don’t clean your room every day so I don’t know where a family is supposed to put the bath towels that they’re supposed to reuse the next day so they dry
- the window curtain is blackout but it doesn’t close completely so one bed gets sunlight right in their eyes every morning. You really have to get creative to make it close enough to block most of the sun

There are positives to this hotel you can see in other reviews but it definitely deserves some criticism. We won’t be returning with so many other hotels to choose from in the same area

The bathroom smelled a little sour. The only other things were kids running through the hallways and knocking at our door.

What a gem! The location was fantastic, the prices reasonable, and the rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was good but they aren't kidding when they say breakfast is done at 9: 30. One morning, they closed the doors at 9: 28, and our second morning, it was closed at 9: 31. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider staying there again.

Perfect hotel for the weary Disney traveler! I love this hotel. Would definitely book them again and again. Highly recommend! Ladies, they have this lovely lavender + eucalyptus shampoo, conditioner (which made my hair so soft, bouncy and though it was hydrating, didn't make my hair oily!) and body wash already provided in the best, most molten-lava temperatured shower ever! The provided hair dryer powered through my long, thick hair like a top-salon quality hair dryer would. The room was spacious and clean. The mirror is anti-fog and perfect lighting for doing your makeup. The room included a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, though the lobby has their own Starbies! Yay! Stay here, guys.and ladies! This is a gem! Happy vacationing! (Oh, one more thing, super cold A/C!)

We stayed at this hotel for a total of 9 nights in the summer. Unfortunately the room had a strong smell and was damp. The fridge was so cold that the cola in it froze. Only on the last evening was the technician able to set it correctly.

We stayed here for a week and it was a blast! We were able to walk across the street and get whatever we needed in the hotel did not offer it. The swimming pool was amazing and the bar and Grill made for long Disney days convenient to eat at the hotel. This hotel was amazing!

I booked the hotel from overseas. But now I need to cancel and find its impossible to find any contact details how to do the cancellation.
TIP for the hotel: Its is very difficult for guests from overseas if you only provide a phone number as contact details. Not everyone can phone overseas or easily speak English.

1- Room air condition is either too hot or too cold.
2- The bathroom doesn't have air.
3- Employees are not friendly and not welcome.
4- Employees responsible for breakfast are aggressive.
5- Wi-Fi is terrible, and the connection is terrible; you can’t make a call unless you go outside
6- employees treated you as if you got your room for free.

There's just one ride per day to go to Disney that you have to book in advance with no space guarantee. We had to take a cab everyday, I don't recommend if you go to this hotel for the parks

My parents forgot to put my husband and I in the Deaf room, and they kept bagging to get us attention, so we are deaf in real life.and they did not think, so I told think before making hotel reservations and bed was not comfortable.

Very nice place. Clean and friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were great. Good breakfast and pool bar. Just wished the shuttle lasted longer only goes during the daytime.

Overall, its a nice hotel. The rooms were clean and had adequate space. My only complaint is the charge for parking. I believe it was a little over $10/nightly. I could understand if it was valet or something but it was self parking and close parking spots were hard to come by. I had to park towards the back and lug all my items in and out of my vehicle. And it was pretty scary walking to my car at night with children. Otherwise, the hotel was fine. It’s located across from Target, Hash House and Five Guys. It’s pretty close to Disney.

Room smelled of sour odors. We left to go to magic kingdom come back late evening to our hotel room door wide open. Front desk claimed housekeeping hadn’t been in. Things were moved around room not cleaned. Said we had firework view. We did not! When confronted the front desk and manager we were called liars. I offered for them to come take a look they refused. Tried to offer me 15% off at the restaurant! No thanks! Why would I spend more money at this establishment to get a discount! Do not recommend!

Rooms are worn out. Cracks Round tub. Took forever for frig to get cold, had to get box of tissues 2 hrs after arrival.
Once every other day service, ice machine not working on our floor.asked to near elevator, walking difficult for me, room way In Back of building. Disappointing stay. Resort fee+ daily parking for every other service? Really disappointed as have stayed there many times B4;

Absolutely shocked by the service, quality, and cleanliness of this hotel for the price. This hotel is really up to par with Disney hotels and this hotel is very close to Disney World. I usually do stay at a Disney World resort when I come to Orlando, but when there isn't something available, I love this place. Also, their pool is amazing!
