St. Lucie County Aquarium reviews
19My group and I had an amazing time at the aquarium. Lots of fish, coral and interactive activities to do. The staff were also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Special mention to Rob at the interactive tank. He was very kind, enthusiastic and insightful, we learned so much from him! If you’re in Ft. Pierce, this aquarium is absolutely worth your while:)
Awsome experience! The staff was very informative during their feeding tour my whole family loved it! Highly recommended!
Beautiful bonsai botanical a must see. And if any of the volunteers are reading this you were so nice so helpful and so much fun! Kudos to Suzanne, Susan, and Vicky! Thank you for the info. The sisters.
10/10! This is such an adorable little spot, it houses some pretty interesting fish and I loved learning about them and their habitats!
Very cute place, lots of new information. Geared towards children, but as an adult, I still enjoyed it. They give a feeding tour 3 times a day (it may be twice a day) that was fun to watch and they also have a pond where you can touch the animals. The price is VERY reasonable. Please stop in and bring the kids if you've got them! Great time for all!
For what it was it was amazing, it's very small and parking will be impossible due to sharing a lot with the public access beach.
A great variety of sea life and knowledgeable staff!
It is almost as if you are in someone's home looking at their own fish aquarium in their living room. Under the microscopes however you are able to see slides of the teeniest hideous hideous plankton and it is truly amazing.
We were at the beach and had a little time to spare so we decided to visit the aquarium. The cost was minimal and the staff were very friendly and interactive. They were moving about and visiting with the guests and answering any questions.
The faculty is small but is geared towards the local habitats and their inhabitants. I would visit again and the proceeds go towards supporting local restoration of habitats. Great way to spend 45 minutes.
Very fun and perfect to bring kids extremely immersive and fun for them. The staff are amazing and tell you lots of interesting facts about their aquatic aquariums!
Lived here my whole life and never even knew this was here. My kids loved the hands on part, where they got to touch sea life. The aquarium is nice & clean. Helpful staff. Wish it was bigger hopefully one day they will expand. My kids aged 12-6 had a great time. Price was GREAT.
Great small aquarium that has an area for gentle touching of snails, conch, horseshoe crabs and tiny shrimp. Knowledgeable staff answers any fish or sea creature questions. Fun place to take your little ones! Kids under 3 are free!
I have been several times now and every time it is a joy. Knowledgeable staff so happy to teach! The touch tank is also fun!
A small place packed with fun and educational for the family. Kids didn't know what they liked most.touch tank, exhibits, staff sharing their knowledge or so much more hands on activities.
Great local aquarium with very knowledgeable staff. Reasonably priced entry fee get you a hands on feel with aquatic wildlife.
I was shocked on the amount of different fish and sea creatures we seem here. Great place to bring the kids they even have a place where you can touch some of the sea creatures. Sadly I forgot the workers name who took his time to educate and teach us about what we were seeing.
It's small but has pretty fish and the place area where is located is very nice and beautiful.
You may need to park in the back of the park because the aquarium parking gets taken by the beach goers.
The professor that spoke to us was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us quite a bit. The aquarium wasn't very busy, so it gave the opportunity for him to really take his time.
The St Lucie County Aquarium is a small slice of the ocean right by the water. There were so many tools and animals, it’s very kid friendly, but even the adults learned a lot. They have an interactive area where you can pet hermit crabs, urchins, & even let the cleaning shrimp play on your fingers! The price was great at less than $3 a person but the first Tuesday is free so we will be going back for that!
