Why? Called the practice with over 30 hours notice of the need to change my appointment because I had just tested positive for COVID.

Two days later receive a text message that I owe $60 for this cancellation.

Called the practice to inquire, they require 48 hour notice for appointment cancellations.

**Summation: simply show up for your appointment when you’re ill including testing positive for COVID**

Love this practice! Moved to FL a few years back and this dental office was highly recommended by several neighbors.

I had an amazing experience here! I’m terrified of the dentist and Faith made me feel so welcome and so relaxed while we figured out what was going on with my teeth. Thank you to the whole team here for going above and beyond for me today!

I am so thrilled to have found St. Pete Modern Dentistry! I had no idea going to the dentist could be a pleasant experience. The office is a converted house and the ambiance is very calming; the staff and especially the dentists are very professional and do excellent work. They have state-of-the-art equipment and you do not have to wait months to get an appointment. They are accommodating and efficient. Just an awesome business and I know you will agree. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with my new dentist. I even had to bring my toddler with me (unforeseen circumstances) and they were very attentive and accommodating with us. I highly recommend 100%.

This is my favorite dental office that I have been to in my entire life & I used to be terrified of going to the dentist! My whole family has been coming to see Dr. Gutu & Masha for years. They are so attentive, listen to concerns you may have, always explain what is going on and provide the best advice. I feel like I always know my options and can make informed decisions about my dental health, without ever feeling pressured to do something like I have had happen at other dentists. The clinic itself is very clean. They recently added Dr. Shoopak who has been great as well.

Dr. Shoopak and staff are very thorough, knowledgeable, and attentive. I am so glad I switched to this practice!

WOW! Let’s be real, it not easy to walk into a dentist without Insurance. More often than not you don’t get treated well. Not here! The staff is not only professional they are compassionate and went out of their way to explain my dental needs. St. Pete Modern Dentistry is top-tier and I won’t go anywhere else.

Everyone at this office is exceptional but disappointed that you have to pay $60.00 to make an appointment and my insurance is covered at 100%. Bad policy!

I absolutely love St. Pete Modern Dentistry! Everyone at the front desk is always so helpful, making it a pleasant experience. The general atmosphere of the office is very tranquil, another plus. My dental hygienist, Maria is absolutely fantastic, caring and thoughtful, and extremely thorough with her dental cleanings. Both Dr. Elena Gutu & Dr. Anna Shoopak are exceptional and compassionate dentists. They truly listen, display deep concern for your dental needs, and are true experts in their field. I always walk away feeling great about my dental visit. Hands down, St. Pete Modern Dentistry is the best dental office around from front desk, dental hygienists to both dentists. Everyone is about relationship building which is important to me. St. Pete Modern Dentistry is first-rate in my book!

The Service was truly amazing very professional, very clean. It's a cute little dentist office when you drive down 1st Ave or 55 St. They gave a welcome gift which included a good pen and a gorgeous cup. I really appreciate St. Pete Modern Dentistry, other offices should take heed.

Dr. Shoopak she’s been very helpful and skillful throughout this process. She explained the treatment program clearly. The level of service from the whole office has been exceptional. The office is clean and tidy. The staff is very personable. The pricing for the services is very transparent. There are no hidden fees or unexpected charges.

I had my first appointment with this office today and it was truly the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office! I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and I wasn’t necessarily looking forward to the long appointment I knew I had coming. That changed once I walked in the door. Every single team member from the front desk, to the x ray technician, to the hygienist, to the dentist — was kind, personable, and genuinely a delight to engage with. Always a great experience and always improving. They now offer (since my last visit/about 6 mo.) an amenities menu for comfort. Headphones, blankets, lip balm, pain reliever, and slippers. Love this office!

Great practice with excellent staff and dentists. Maria is the best hygienist. I look forward to seeing her! I used to have a terrible phobia; no more. Also, should you need a deep cleaning, the dentists are licensed in Sedation Dentistry. A Valium (or something similar) taken before the appointment and Nitrous oxide.

Very positive experience. The staff were very helpful & friendly. I love how they personalized my visit with a blanket & pillow…that was AWESOME! The dentist was also very informative about my plan for treatment, her explanations were easy to understand & helpful to my needs. The office is very clean & modern, which is a huge plus! Thank you for taking care of me on my very first visit as a patient and looking forward to many more!
