Stacey Cropsey is a blessing. When I started my first ever home buying process, I knew very little of the process and felt very overwhelmed, in over my head, and unprepared. I didn't think I was ready to buy but my landlord was selling and because of the market, it was seemingly my only option. I made several facebook posts asking for lender recommendations and in particular needed someone who was familiar with the down payment assistance programs. I called at least a dozen and spoke with a few and as soon as I spoke with Stacey I knew she was the right choice. She instantly made me feel reassured and took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand without making me feel stupid for asking, unlike the others who flew through the details and made me feel rushed into filling out paperwork when I didn't feel ready. She knows everything there is to know about the down payment assistance programs and helped me in getting the one that was best for my circumstances.
To make the process even more challenging, we were doing the sale without a realtor so we had to do everything on our own every step of the way.
Well bless this woman's heart because little did she (nor I) know that this would be over a year's worth of unforeseen obstacles, setbacks, and delays. I truly do not know what I would have done or how I would have gotten through this whole thing without having her with me the whole way. She did so much for me that was above and beyond her call of duty and I will be forever grateful that I trusted my instinct to choose her to help me through this process.
