Stage West Playhouse reviews
18Wonderful community theater filled with creative individuals who love the arts and enjoy sharing that live with the community.
For the first time, I attended an event at this venue. Although smaller than other locations, it made good use of the space and had an open feel. Additionally, the layout was familiar and held to standard theater & performing arts conventions.
The parking lot was sized well. A covered area offers plenty of shelter outside the front doors. However, there is no covered pull through area if you want to drop off your wife or date during a rain storm.
Overall, this is a great little spot. I have not attended any of the performances from the local thespians so I cannot speak to those events. But, the venue is certainly excellent for this community.
I thought it was really worth getting the season tickets, i really enjoyed the variety. From musicals to drama with very talented locals putting on an amazing performance. Def recommend. Looking forward to the next opening.
Wish I could give 5 stars but an evening event and the place was 80 degrees inside. Everyone was very uncomfortable. Otherwise it was clean and nice.
Very clean place. Great sound system. Comfortable chairs. Plenty of parking spots. Clean restrooms. Concession stand needs improvement, very limited choices.
Updated Shakespeare Abridged was wonderful. Masks still required as well as social distant seating. Hernando County theater at its best.
We went to see Mamma Mia today. The performers were excellent. The lead singer was a high school senior. This young women is destin for a great future in the entertainment field.
This is a community theater. Seating is theater style with comfortable seats.
With Covid restrictions we were comfortable with the spacing.
Awesome local theater. Nice sized seats and great view of the stage no matter where you sit. Highly enjoyed both of my visits and will be returning in the future.
Support your local talent and go see an entertaining show.
Something Rotten is a very funny musical performed by a very talented ensemble! Thank you, Stage West.
This is an amazing local theater with a friendly staff, talented performers, and well kept facility.
My family saw Spamalot tonight and everyone had a great time. You can see how much passion everyone has for the production and we all can't wait to come to more shows in the future.
Highly recommended!
Great atmosphere, great people, awesome performances! Check them out and support local theatre!
Always seeing a good play there. Will always go back and see another one. They always have an intermission so you're able to get up and stretch.
Nice community theater. Clean and seats are comfortable. Great assortment of plays throughout the year
A great place. We always are amazed. There really is nothing better than live theater with native talent and so well rounded
Great Guy and Dolls Jr. Really liked the leading lady. Really enjoyed how special the singing voices were. Plus kids and costumes were. Super!
