Steak 954, Fort Lauderdale FL

We ordered the 50 Oz Tomahawk, it’s was amazing, fed the whole table, service was great, food was better, and the location is ON POINT, who doesn’t love beach front dining. We liked it so much we came back for brunch on Saturday, Brunch was terrific,

The food is very rich but the portion is very small and the companions have to be paid separately

This place has a very nice atmosphere inside and out. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good, but not worth the price and portions. Make certain to ger clarity on MP and portions. I'm sure ur paying more for everything due to the restaurants location. The photos listed were $200+. My husband said $274, but I didn't take a pic of the "one" small crab claw cluster.

Food was amazing! Service was great, my server Pacheco was very welcoming of my solo dining and the passion fruit cosmopolitan was chef's kiss! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Ft. Lauderdale.

I revised my review because on Mother’s Day my family and I went here, had a reservation for 8: 30 pm, and after being seated and orders taken we were neglected for 2 hours! I had young children seated with us starving as well! It wasn’t even that busy! Then they finally bring the food to the table and brought me a cold filet mignon! At this point I realized these people and the management are completely incompetent and unprofessional for what’s supposed to be an expensive steak restaurant! Not only was the service a HUGE disappointment but the restrooms were HORRENDOUS! Smelled like urine was all over the floor and walls! You can compare it to a gas station restroom in the worst area you can imagine. Not worth a penny after this experience! Steak 954 ruined Mother’s Day for my family and I. We ended up leaving close to midnight with 3 children. I will absolutely never return here and I urge anyone else that’s looking for a nice place to have steak NOT to go here! Take your money to a real steakhouse because this place has gone so far downhill from what it used to be.

Pros: The staff was awesome. From the first person you meet to the end, everyone was awesome!
The location is also a plus.

Cons: The taste of the food was not robust nor flavorful and the drinks were not strong.

Not for me. They destroy $100 cut of meat by burning it on the outside and leaving it raw on the inside. Maybe that's for you, not me

Sat outside on a warm night. Very nice outside. Inside seemed a little different but it is cool. Steak was top notch. Had the wagyu New York strip. Wife had filet. Both perfectly cooked.

I’ll say the scallop appetizer stole the show though. Not because the steak was bad. It was just that good.

Prices are solidly high but you’re paying for great steaks. They have a rather extended list of aged and or wagyu options.

Didn’t save room for dessert but they all looked good.

Our server was phenomenal! The food was outstanding. The atmosphere is warm but a bit loud.

Eric, Mark, and team (franscisco!) were impressive. I felt so well taken care of from the moment I sat at the bar. I wanted to enjoy a special meal but they delivered far beyond my expectations. Thank you, Eric, for making incredible recommendations and for the friendly conversation. I will surely rave about my experience!

Delicious, high quality seafood, and excellent martinis to match. Richard and the entire staff are superb and treated us with a wonderful dining experience. Friends already recommended the restaurant to us and now we know why! Will definitely make it a staple to return to when in Ft Lauderdale. Cheers!

Steak 954 was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance was exciting and romantic with a flair of elegance. The Jellyfish Tank was so cool! Our waiter, Richard was friendly, attentive, and fun. The food was great! We enjoyed a Wedge Salad, 8 oz. Filet Mignon, 22 oz. Prime Dry Aged Bone-In Ribeye, Creamed Spinach, Truffle Potato Gratin. Everything was delicious and paired well together. I can't forget to mention the delicious popover bread with the salted butter.so good and was light enough to leave room for our main course. Then Richard brought us 2 glasses of Prosecco with a Red Velvet Cupcake to celebrate our anniversary and took lovely pictures of us! I truly enjoyed our time at Steak 954.

Food is just ok, not a steak house quality.
Variety is limited.
Service is bad and very slow.
$550 before tip for a party of 5, no drinks but water.

The positive, the server, and her attentiveness (I wish I remembered her name). The other positive is the ambiance of the restaurant's inside and outside.

The negatives are the food and the lackluster taste of the food. I would say quality, but there was no quality control of the food.

Three filets came out ALL different sizes and not even remotely close. The Waygu Filet was more tender than the regular filet. Was it worth the additional money? Nope, not really at all. The steaks were just bland overall. The baked potato was undone and was hard and not cooked properly. The lobster had ZERO bit of any seasoning on it. Frankly, I have had better cold lobster from Publix. The fries were crispy/on the well-done side and were cold.

Is it nice to take a date to and impress them with the ambiance? Sure is. Is the food going to be remotely worth the money that you are going to drop? Not at all.

Atmosphere is set by dimly lit seating with candle flames. Dress code isnt strict. Came for my anniversary and was taken well care of. We had the wagyu steak and 12 oz filet with whipped potatoes and bacon mac and cheese. The potatoes were a little too garlicy for me but still tasted great. Steaks were amazing. Service was amazing. We were also given a cupcake on the house! Will return again.

Wonderful staff interactions from the moment we stepped into Steak 954. Arrive early enough to let the jellyfish calm you into being ready to fully enjoy your dining experience. Creative cocktails go perfectly with popovers warm out of the oven with that salty butter we crave. Vibrant roasted beets & rich lobster bisque starters did not disappoint. We enjoyed tender filets (more on the rare side of medium-rare) with mushrooms & shallots and roasted asparagus. The best bites of the night: the scallops from the starter menu (ordered to accompany our filets). I wanted to lick the plate. Absolutely beautiful flavors. Alfredo couldn't have been more thoughtful with his easy smile & attentive service during our visit.
Only disappointment of the evening: the table next to us was so close that passing between was all but impossible and held us captive to unfortunate all-dinner-long bickering from the folks seated at that table. A fella from their group hip-checked our table as he tried his best to sneak through to use the bathroom. I understand wanting to capitalize on the space & not being able to control the moods of the patrons, but a bit more space to separate would have been appreciated.
