Steak 'n Shake, Riverview FL

I usually always go here every once in a while after my visit here Sunday it reminds me why i now go to SONICS there was a african american guy at the window very unprofessional also my i paid for a medium milk shake i got a medium cup with like enough for a small shake second i paid for a chicken strip meal 2 actually and he brings one dipping sauce and says for more sauce you have to pay. I can now see why when u drive up to this steak n shake their no line at all due to the service.

The service here is usually great.

The real problem is, I ordered a medium cup of water in the drive-thru. I was told I would have to pay for the cup. Which is expected, if it were like 50 cents.

My cup of water was $2.29 +tax.

Got rushed at the drive thru and then had to wait 10 minutes for our food then we get it and the burgers are smashed flat.

What a sad day! No table service, no ambiance, no character. Ordered at a machine, a very sweet girl called our number and we picked up food. No condiments on table. Food was cold despite watching cook make burgers. Burger was ice cold, onion rings were cold. Even the bacon was cold. Bun not toasted. This was a great place to eat but now it’s just a cold burger and no personality.

Absolutely delicious. Tender, juicy, mouth watering burgers. Best onion rings I've ever had, and their milkshakes are always thick, creamy and top notch! Personal fave!

Live picking up Doordash orders here. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Thanks all of you v

Come here every weekend for a nice cheap lunch. Dining room service not the same as it used to be but the drive thru is always great, especially when Salvadore is at the window! Always bright and cheery and makes sure every last bit of my order is correct! Makes my days so much better

One of my favorite Chefs working lake night always makes my burgers with love. I get the sauce and lettuce tomato on the side so when your Uber arrives the bun on your burgers still perfect.

Nice face-lift. The Dinning area looks nice but they don't have servers anymore. You order in kiosks and pick up on the counter (service station). I missed the servers.

Newly remodeled BUT order kiosk then pick up your own food and get your own drink?
No longer worth the money

Owner/Manager Sean hired my daughter early September 2021. Sean had her attend an unpaid work orientation all job related. He never informed her he had no intentions on hiring her. The entire time post orientation he lead her to believe she is hired. He even emailed her W2s for her to complete and return and advised her to purchase black slacks, white button down uniform with restaurant shoes and get back with him for her to train. We spent $250+ dollars spent on uniforms and completed the W2s. Once the W2s were submitted Sean stopped responding. He took my daughters personal information and has yet to respond to what is being done with that information.

It’s the lack of professionalism, communication and dishonesty from the owner Sean that reaffirms to me how excellence (or lack there of) starts from management.

This was my first time dining in since the reopened. I love the setup and seating. Everything was easy and the food was great! Ordering at the kiosk was simple, being free to pick our table was great, picking up the food when our number was called was efficient. There were employees available on the floor to help with anything you needed. They even stopped by the table a few times to make sure everything was okay. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Steak’n’Shake run so effortlessly with fast service and hot food.

JUST CAME THRU THE DRIVE THRU AT 6: 32 ON 10/4 GOT DOWN THE ROAD TO EAT THE BURGER AND THE CHEESE NOT EVEN MELTED SANDWICH COLD AS HECK. THE COLD PICKLES MADE IT EVEN COLDER. JUST SLOP A BURGER TOGETHER AND SERVE IT TO SOME ONE. TO BAD I COULDNT TURN AROUND BECAUSE I WOULDVE RETURNED THIS HORRIBLE COLD SANDWICH. DONT SERVE NO ONE NOTHING U WONT EAT.

If this is the way Steak n Shake is going to do business and not have waitresses and set down service I will not be back no matter how much I like the food Change back or close up I sure I not the only one that doesn't like the new service

I mean. It's pretty good. Prices are cheap. Burgers have nice flavor, so do the chicken tenders. But the burgers are very small, I basically could eat two doubles. They are seriously paper thin and not wide. The fries are also the tiniest and limpest things, Talking like the 90 yr old peepee of the french fry world. Overall it's ok but nothing truly special.

Took 15 min to even get gift cards to work, and we switched tables 3 times bc all of then were sticky? Not dirty, but just sticky. This is first time we went since before pandemic and used to love it.now I would rate it around a burger king experience. Disappointed.

They have made changes since the last time I was there. If you go inside you have to order using touch screen. Then go to the pick up area regardless of whether you are eating there or taking it to go. I had some issues with the actual ordering person but they had a very nice girl that helped me out and did not make me feel stupid which I really appreciated. They have downsized the menu which is sad and I was a little worried about the germs on the touchscreen.
