Very nice people. Willing to make sure your comfortable with the arrangements needing to be made. They don't try to "sell" you stuff that isn't needed just to make extra money. Especially in the time of going through this life changing event. I would rec them.

Father passed and we were working with Michael. He was pleasant and helpful. We had a great experience up to the point of cremation. I was supposed to observe my Dad’s cremation. Steeles went and did it without calling me. Also, was done an hour away, instead of local WH crematory. Michael was polite and apologetic. He refunded us 100% of the cost. Other older gentleman rude and in a hurry. 2 of my smaller urns were scratched from someone using a wrench on them.

Michael has handled both of my parents literally a month apart. He arranged for mom to be sent from Fl to NJ for burial. Since dad was literally a month later, we could not afford another over the top expensive NJ funeral, and we decided to cremate dad and let him go to NJ with my brother for burial. Plans changed often as we struggled with decisions (4 sibs…) Michael was always patient, kind and generous with his time and support. He did everything he could to make this difficult time easier for us. He was wonderful to deal with and I highly recommend Steele’s if you need a funeral home.
