It took me a long time to figure out how I felt before writing this review. I really loved my stylist Sam as she's an incredible person and no doubt talented with hair but I had such a horrible time because of my last experience with her. At first everything was fine, she's sweet as usual but when it came to doing what I was looking for we went from trying to find a compromise and agreeing to something only for it to be completely different in the end and not at all what we agreed on. I was in the chair so I couldn't see what she was doing but instead of doing what we agreed on, I essentially got highlights. Because of the way she did them this ended up being $200 more than what I paid last time which was around $100 something. She never mentioned the price would jump like that, and the reason I asked to get what I wanted the first time and later what we agreed on was because it was in my budget. This was not and on top of that I still needed to buy the products to properly care for my hair. I couldn't say anything because by the time I figured out she wasn't doing what we agreed on it was too late. I didn't question it earlier because I trusted her. When I left my hair immediately frizzed out and started to curl so my $300 something went completely down the drain. When I got to the event I had to go to everyone thought my hair looked weird and I was embarrassed. When it came time to wash I was even more horrified because my hair was falling out WAY too much. I followed her instructions to the T just like last time and had no problems then (mind you I had my whole head done in color and didn't have anywhere near the same fall out). My hair fell out so much despite also using the products she suggested I couldn't stop crying. I was basically balding and even brushing my hair only did more harm. My hair was so messed up and damaged from the visit that I had no choice but to shave off almost all my hair and I had a break down over it. It was such a mortifying experience and I haven't gone back since. Reading other reviews this isn't the first time price hadn't been mentioned or something different has happened to other's hair. Please if you go here make sure to check the price with Sam first before doing something, if something changes, ask how it will effect the price, and make sure you're getting your hair done EXACTLY the way you wanted it. I know it's important to trust your stylist, but just trusting put me down the hole $300 something, embarrassment, my hair falling out in large clumps and so much crying. It's really not worth not checking.

My stylest was able to fix a color job that I didn't like, and now I love how my hair looks! Everyone is very friendly. I did get a little hot during my hair treatment so I recommend wearing lightweight clothing and bringing a sweater for when your hair is wet.

Megan is the best! Her skill with hair extensions and balayage are incredible. She is friendly and honest and has the creative mind you want working magic on your hair. Love her!

I’ve been a client of Melissa’s for several years. She does the best blond highlights and always offers me seasonal variations. She also tones and deep conditions my hair before cutting. MY HAIR HAS NEVER BEEN HEALTHIER OR FELT SMOTHER until I started seeing Melissa.

The salon itself is great- clean, efficiently run, and in a great location.

The proof is the the pudding- I’ve referred a heavy handful of clients to her that have become loyal clients as well. In fact, I found her through a recommendation from a friend.

For the budget conscious client, she offers a twice-yearly half off color sale. She’s also wonderful with rewarding clients who bring referrals.

I've been going to Stella Luca Salon ever since Megan Glisson has been a stylist there. She is absolutely amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. Whether it be extensions, coloring or cut, I have my complete trust in her knowing I will never leave the chair unhappy. I have had my hair every color under the sun, extensions on and off and my hair is healthier than ever. If she recommends any products - BUY THEM. I could see a dramatic change from switching over to only salon products - goes back to her knowledge! If you're on the hunt for someone great and who will treat you like a princess in their chair, look no further!

Rachel is the best️ I had 4 years worth of red brown box die! And she got it blonde in 4 hours. It usually takes a lot more than that to get red out especially to blonde. After just 4-5 appointments I’m pretty much platinum and I love it. She’s so talented and always does my hair so well. I don’t let anyone touch my hair but her. I’m always confident when she does my hair because she always does a phenomenal job. Always exactly what I vision! I LOVE HER! I highly recommend her.

I’ve been getting my hair done there for over year now & am now told I cannot schedule there any longer because of some differences a hair assistant has with me? This a supposed to be a place of “professional business “ but comes with ALOT OF DRAMA while getting your hair done.worst experience with any company by far! Warning be carful what you say or do while there the girls are very judgmental and very mean.

Owner was very rude. The people here are very selective on who they choose to treat with respect. They only do their best work when it's time to compete, however when it's on a particular customer there is no best work. It's a bait and switch routine for which the customers they choose will cost them dearly so they don't come back to their establishment.

Molly is an amazing salon stylist and she always turns my hair into a work of art. I trusted her to dye my hair pink the first time I EVER got my hair colored. Then asked her to cut it all off later on and I love my pixie cut. I will always go to Molly for my hair styling needs!

Kiya does a phenomenal job with my bayalage every time! So happy I finally found a stylist that is experienced and understands the color and dimension I am looking for - and delivers! Can’t recommend her enough!

The stylist told me it would be $200 and take two hours to do an agave oil treatment. (It even says on the website that the cost starts at under $225.) Instead, it took 4.5 hours (we were there until after close) and costed $300. The results didn’t last long either. So I essentially spent close to $400 (300 plus 60 dollar tip) for something that lasted a month. I cried a lot that night, feeling like I got ripped off and lied to. I still feel kind of heartbroken by it.

I had my hair done here and it was a great experience. Great service and very relaxing. Samantha has hands of an angel, very gentle touch. She is professional and very skilled. My hair looked great and felt good. For me is very difficult to find someone who knows how to treat curly hair and she understood it very well. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Love the color and my haircut. Highly recommend.

My wife and son get their hair down here at Stella Luca salon. They both love the place and the service.

The staff is amazing. There is nothing better than a calming shampoo. Ahhhhh. Kalyn has magical hands. Melissa is the best stylist. Shhh don't tell the other great stylists in the salon. Stop by and set an appointment. You will be so glad you did.

I was very excited about going to this hair salon after it had been recommended to me by a couple of coworkers, but it turned out to be a let down. My hair staylist was very nice, however she messed up my hair so badly. I wanted a nice ombre and she left me with random highlights and a terrible hair cut. My hair was very damaged after the fact. I called the manager and requested for her to get someone esle to fix my hair, she was a little bit rude in the beginning but when i sent her the photos of my hair she sheduled me an appointment immediately. I went back a week later to have my hair fixed and the girl who worked on my hair was very nice, but she was obviously upset about having to fix someone else's mistake. In total i ended up spending close to $500.00 on my hair and it was absolutely not worth it. I regret spending this much money on a terrible job! I don't regret spending money if i know it was worth it, but this wasn't. I never got the ombre i wanted and my hair was severely damaged. I had my hair done about 7 months ago, and my hair has still not recovered from the damage the first stylist caused.

I went in for a full foil today with Desiree and I could not be happier! I used to go to J Baumen salon, but my stylist there would get lazy with my hair (I naturally have very dark hair but I dye it blonde) and would leave so many pieces underneath uncolored. She never took me to that platinum blonde I wanted and always left me with a honey blonde. I explained to Desiree what I wanted and she went out of her way to get every peice of hair. I will definitely be coming back!

I've been to the best hair salons in Miami and NYC and Ann Marie is the best hair stylist I've ever had. She is a Pro at what she does and I am so happy with the results. I will try to get a haircut with her every time I'm in town (visiting parents), even though I live in Miami. She really knows how to do men's hair. Thanks Ann Marie!

Love it here. Stephanie is the only person i trust to cut my curly hair! I have had too many hack jobs to go else where. She is easy to talk to always does a fantastic job.
