Terrible service department, charged for repair, it did nothing to remedy problem. Not refunded

The team at Step One were great. Showed me exactly what I was looking for, made the process of car buying quick and easy.

We went in Brunswick Hyundai Service Wednesday January 24th, 2024 for service-oil and filter change. Jazmin Lassiter our service advisor offered a most professional welcome and service, she was very patient. Our car was ready in no time and our dog was given some fresh water.great service. Thanks for everything Jazmin. Cheers to the shuttle driver who drove us to the mall and back while our car was being taken care of.

The personnel at Step One in Fort Walton were all very professional and courteous. Our salesman, Mike Priest, was the best. He was very informative and helpful. Absolutely phenomenal! We had Jeff help me find a perfect suv that fit my needs. Very understanding, friendly, and an all around good experience! I will be sending people over if they are in search for a vehicle! 10/10 experience! Usually paper work takes all day for a vehicle but we were in and out! It was such a wonderful experience!

We were belittled berated and cursed by a salesman at Step one automotive in Niceville, because we didn’t want to test drive a vehicle that would not even crank without being jumpstarted.

Service department is horrible! Made sn appointment for 1pm on November 27th. Sat in lobby for over an hour looking at my jeepjust parked in the service department area. After over an hour I walked into the service department and asked the guy that wrote my service up, whow much longer would it be until my jeep was taken back for just an oil change and tire rotation, he tell me that it will be another hour or so until a mechanic will be able to look at it. Really? Why make an appointment if you aren't going to start oil change for 2 hours later! Wasted a full day over there for nothing! Called to speak to management, what do you know haven't received a phone call back and was told all service managers were in a meeting! How convenient! So needless to say I am beyond pissed I wasted my time!

The process of purchasing a used car from Step One was extremely difficult and deceitful. Firstly, we were told that we could get our own financing, which we did at 4.5%. Then we were told by their financing agent that we HAD to go through their financing first, at an 8.99% finance rate. Our credit is in the 800's, and we asked why we weren't getting a better finance rate. We were told that all used vehicles MUST go though their financing first to honor the internet pricing. Then after we receive the payment booklet, we could refinance with our own. This should be illegal. We did as they stated. Then went to our financial institution and were told that we didn't have to wait and we shouldn't have had to go through their financing. So we applied to refinance the 8.99% loan again, but because it had been a few days the rate went up. With Step One's process they not only caused us to run our credit several times, but they cost us a higher payment. We also had to pay fees for getting our loan holder changed. They are manipulating the process to gain incentives from loan companies and costing the purchaser extra fees to the the financing they should have had. We will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Step One Automotive. With them owning almost all of the dealers in this area, we will travel elsewhere. This s a horrible company to deal with from beginning to end!

The salesman Adam was nice and polite, as was the finance guy Jeremy. No sleaze balls here! I really appreciate that in a car buying experience.

Bought a 2022 Ram, I am happy with my truck so far but am seriously underwhelmed with the service from Step One Ft Walton. I have been 4 times so far the first three were for recalls, the first time I had an appointment at 7 am and it took 4 Hours. The second time I had to leave because is power outage (that one was not their fault). The third time I had an appointment at 8 am and once again it took 3 hours. I had an appointment this past Monday at 9 am and have to drive an hour to get to the dealership upon arriving I was told they were 2 days behind on appointments, to say the least I was not happy (should have had gotten a call before I made the drive) I love my truck but would not recommend purchasing from this dealership and will not be purchasing from them again.

Stuck here all day while they go through our Jeep after they dropped the ball the last appointment. The music is so loud in the waiting room that it’s painful. They can’t turn it down in the show room. It’s set at corporate office. They don’t trust their own employees with the radio volume. Crazy.

Disgusting! Jacob sold me a truck and promised tire jack and tools but he lied and I can't even get my spare tire down! Liars at STEP ONE AUTO GROUP!
