I will never ever ever enter this store again. I have worked retail many years in my life before transitioning to the medical field. The management in this place is so disrespectful to there in employees I personal have witness management yell at the girls in the store and tell them to work. FYI retail is all costumer service and Communication. The poor girl simply asked a question and was chewed out. I felt so bad for her. I think this place is a rudely ran retail store that I refuse to give my money to.

Always buy unique and fun clothes there. I know I won't see them on anyone else in my circle. Good customer service.

First Steps New York store opened in 1994 in downtown Manhattan. Year later, first Kara New York store opened in Midtown Manhattan. Since then Steps and Kara stores became two of the most favorite shopping destinations for locals and travelers in New York City.

Love love love everything about this store! The girls are very attentive and helpful.

If Only I could put zero Stars. Terrible quality clothing and worst return policy ever. The clothing is also so tacky a clown wound wear it. Mesarable experiance dealing with management about retiring a shirt without a receipt. Be for warned make sure you keep your receipt just to exchange a size. Macys and Dellers has a no Hansel returned policy than this place.

I’m not surprised this store has so many poor reviews. This store doesn’t do refunds already, you would think their exchange policy would be pretty good at least! But no. I bought a dress for the holidays and I didn’t wear it so I went went to return it today and they didn’t allow me because it was “past January 7th”. I’m 6 Days late not a month! But they did not care and refused to exchange the dress for anything else. The manager gave a talk about “we’ll be stuck with the dress and it won’t sell” how is that my problem exactly? I’m not returning to this store again. So tell that to the owner! I’ve spent more than $1000 here. TERRIBLE STORE
