Sterling Ranch Park reviews
16It was pretty clean and well kept, and offered my kids a place to play on a playground as well as a field.
Great park on a rather busy corner in Brandon. Playground is fenced in with a sandy base with swings for very young kids (safety seats not regular seats) and a multi-use play set with two slides, various activity stations, and climbing. There is a single sheltered picnic table that doesn’t seem to have a reservation system associated with it onsite but possibly online. There is a water fountain with doggie water at the ground level and people water up top which includes a spout for filling large bottles and/or thermos-like containers. Lastly there are two large open grassy fields for unlimited activities and opportunities. A very nice and quaint park right inside Sterling Ranch neighborhood.
The idea of the park is nice but it definitely needs a refresh. Missing a slide and the other equipment is starting to deteriorate. The playground is all sand so very messy and dirty.
The police never go there l think need more atention. Estraneous people is sourranding that place, people dont pick up the che of dogs.and people meet there to smoke.
Good for taking dogs not great for children. It is not cleaned well and very limited equipment.
I witnessed a few suspicious encounters with adults waiting for a car to pull up into the parking lot then leaving shortly after their conversation. I'm definitely not going back to this park.
Small park, but quick place to take smaller children! Not crowded and weather was perfect.
The kids playground is falling apart. There once used to be a tube the kids could crawl through.that's gone. The stairs are chipping, the door lock to the playground is broken. Looks really sad. I like the little creek in the back. The kids love throwing sticks into it and the open field is great for sports. I don't recommend coming just for the playground.
Nice little park. Has a small play area for children. There is one picnic table under a cover. No restroom facilities. We had our own cleanup supplies. Soap, water, etc.
We were in Tampa and had a picnic lunch with us and stopped by this park to eat.
Its a small but good park. Clean, and decent parking. Its geared more towards toddlers/small children. There are 3 slides and 2 toddler swings, no regular swings. There's also a balance beam and a picnic table under an awning. The ground is sand which my daughter loves.
This park is very minimal but not crowded i take my toddler with a can of lysol wipes and some anti-bacterial spray so i can assure there is no covid other parents do the same tjay i have seen here there isnt much more than a playground and a grassy area good for some soccer or a small game of football thats it though
Its a nice park but its falling apart. There are spots in the metal floors on the playground that are about to fall through and cause serious injuries for children and there are holes under the playground that look dangerous as well. Keep a close eye on your kids.
Park management, please fix this. (: Thank you!
Equipment could be better maintained and it's small but has a variety of slide types I've not found elsewhere.
There is a little creek just beyond the tree line. Just follow the little path for the hidden gem.
It's a nice little park here in Brandon just to get out have some sunshine. There's a smalle closed in area w/ playground for children & dogs are welcome with a leash.
It would of been good if it was open but we wanted to take a pic i thought this was cute and my dog had plenty of room to run
No one is usually seen here. It is a small neighborhood park with just one sliding structure. Ocassionally some people from the neighborhood can be seen.
