David was a very easy person to talk to. I made an appointment with him on Thursday but when I put it in my phone I put Wednesday at 1. I called him and said I couldn’t make it Wednesday at 1, but I would try to get another appointment with him. He called me around three o’clock and I apologized for the mix up. He asked me if I was doing anything around 4: 30 and I said no. He said if you want to come meet me I will take care of the paperwork. He worked after hours to help me. He made a very hard time in my life very easy to get through We talked quite a bit and for a little while he made me forget everything I am going through right now. Thank you again for all of your help.

At 72 my mortality is becoming apparent so I decided to look into a prepaid funeral. With my family living in Michigan, I did not want them to have to make important decisions from a long distance. First, I attended a free lunch chaired by David Sawyer. He did a great job presenting his product and, as advertised, did not use any hard sell tactics. I made an appointment and talked further with him. I decided to purchase a prepaid funeral. The proceed was easy and David answered all of my questions promptly. From my first call to picking up my information Brenda Pucino was so completely understanding, compassionate, helpful in getting and explaining the proper documents that I would need to take my family's ashes out west to their final resting place.
She listened to my every need and provided the information for me to travel via flying with their ashes. When I picked up the packets she explained everything contained in the paperwork.
I couldn't have asked for someone better than Brenda to help me with this very delicate, important and emotional situation.
My family has used this Funeral Home for a very long time.
The director Matt Pierson has always been the one to handle each sad time we have needed a funeral home.
He has made the experience as comfortable as it could be.
He has provided time for us to decide what was best for our family.

My parents made their final arrangements with Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish soon after moving to FL in the 90's. My Mom passed in 2019. I had no idea what to expect from them at the time. My Dad recently passed and I knew what to expect. It was the same great service, caring staff and well appointed rooms. My parents wishes were honored and the contract they signed all those years ago held no hidden surprises or additional charges. I am pleased to give them a 5 star rating.

David Sawyer helped our family just seven months ago and was the most caring individual that we are now using him again to help us with the transition of losing my mother. Helpful and caring is an understatement.
