Steve's Towing, Port Charlotte FL

My car broke down at a gas station, so I called around to a couple of towing places. The first one had no availability, and Steve's said they would be a little bit since they were on another run. But they ended up taking less time than they said originally, because they moved me up in front of the other call. They make a point of putting you in first if you are in more trouble (the other call was broken down at home). They were extremely nice and really cheap. I hope I never have to use another towing service, but I know who to call if I ever do.

Called to have my sons truck towed to mechanic, they were very polite, understanding, and prompt.
Highly reccomend if ever in need of a towing company.

My rental car needed to be towed from a music festival in the middle-of-nowhere, to the Fort Myers Airport. Dan from Steve’s towing was not only super transparent about how much money I’ll end up paying, but he was extremely prompt and kept me fully updated. He provided some words of advice, and we even kept a nice conversation going about shared music interests while he loaded the car onto his truck (Which he removed from a festival parking lot that can only be described as “Surgically”) I felt safe and confident in my selection of towing companies, would highly recommend.

Beware when you call to get a price you get one price then when they're finished with job they charge more do not recommend them very diss honest

This towing company is a predatory tow company. And I recommend not using them. Several weeks back we parked at a closed business in Port Charlotte and went to an adjacent resturant (Gators). We were only there 20 min. Came back to the car to leave and this company was hooked up to our car with only one jhook to tow and was just waiting. It was discovered that we parked in a private property tow zone. But the business (Mi Gallo Restaurant) had these bright led strobe lights flashing in your eyes and makes it difficult to read the signs. And the towing company just sits and wait to tow people as they park there vehicle. Now I understand that the signs are legal, the business was closed, and the tow company was in legal rights. What makes this company predatory is that they sit in the shadows and wait for you to park and walk away. Then back up there tow truck put a hook on it and wait for you to come back and charge you $75.00 to get your car back. Then go back in the shadows and wait for the next victim. I worked all my life in the towing business as a manager. This is a predatory business practice. Which in my eyes is no different than strong arming someone and taking there money!

Management and drivers are very friendly and knowledgeable and took excellent care of my car after it had been wrecked. Arrived super fast and price was the best in town. Highly recommend. 5 stars!

I have used Steve's Towing services twice now with the latest time last week. Both experiences proved to be the best that you could expect when faced with a situation in which you need a tow. Danny responded to my call last week and I was amazed at how he was able to maneuver the tow truck in a tight space in order to secure my vehicle - his expertise was much appreciated. That being said, Steve's Towing services won't break the bank either. How refreshing to get quality service at a reasonable price.

I called around 10am and spoke to a polite lady who put me in contact with Dan. My vehicle was towed by 1pm to my new residence. Both call taker and Dan were extremely professional and polite. Dan was punctual and towed my vehicle with care. I would recommend their services to others.

Steve is knowledgeable, friendly and a good communicator. His prices for local towing are very reasonable. His office dispatch person was very accurate with my information. 2 tows. Both went very smoothly.

I have used Steve’s Towing 3x in the past year. We have old cars/truck. They are affordable, professional, on time and friendly. I wouldn’t think of using anyone else.

Steve's towing is my go to when my car let's me down. The rates are reasonable, response time is the quickest I've experienced. Jeff is very efficient, friendly, and funny. Like Steve's.there's no other.
