Restaurant Stillwaters Tavern reviews
18The food here was fantastic! We received excellent service from William H, who also gave us excellent recommendations to continue to enjoy our stay in St. Petersburg.
Went for brunch today. Stillwater’s is one of our favorite places in St. Pete and is always 5 stars. However, what I ordered today for brunch (decided to branch out) was INCREDIBLY disappointing. The breakfast sandwich boasted their homemade ham, truffle honey, and egg. I received a breakfast sandwich with NO MORE than probably an ounce of meat (and that may be generous). Strange for a meat-forward restaurant. No truffle honey either.
Cost-cutting going on? If so, it was clear today.
Our server was delightful and the beer selection is very good. I recommend ordering the sausage sampler. They’re all great!
We friend and I were seated by a young host how was personable. We were initially disappointed when we learned he was not out waiter, However our waitress turned out to be just as warm and friendly. Super staff. We dined outside and each had a different variety of sausage link.
Had lunch here for the first time and was really pleased. The menu was excellent and executed well, I had the gochuchang chicken sandwich. I was mainly impressed with the service and quantity of beer available on tap. I worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years so it is easy to recognize good service. We are on the patio but the inside looked really cool. If I'm in the area again I'd absolutely go back.
I had the Grilled salmon salad: marinated wood grilled salmon, mixed greens, cucumber, feta, quinoa, heirloom tomatoes, croutons, egg, kalamata olives, Greek vinaigrette. My spouse had the Miso Honey Salmon: roasted acorn squash, ancient grains pilaf, fried kale, carrot miso vinaigrette. The food was prepared perfectly. Our server was Abby J.and she was awesome. Abby made our dining experience very pleasurable. They have a daily Happy Hour from open until 7: 00 pm. Highly recommend.
Would have loved to try and eat here. Got seated at 3: 46. Walked out at 4: 10. Had several waiters and waitresses walk past us and never took our order. Asked several waiters if they could help. Nope. Never again.
Our whole experience was great start to finish. Our waiter, Alex, was terrific and handled our large group with ease. We will definitely be back again!
Unfortunately, the grilled chicken was hard, dry, and cold. The salmon on the salad was over cooked, dry and a very small portion. Wine selection was slim so bought a higher end bottle to share with the table.
$200 later, went home hungry.
I met a friend today for Valentines day at stillwaters tavern. We sat at the end of the bar by the servers station. The bartender who was standing 3ft from where I was sitting was opening champagne bottles with the cork toward us. I nicely asked to please point the the bottle the other way while opening so I dont accidentally get hit. The bartender then said " I never had an accident yet" and continued to point the champagne bottles towards us. Food was excellent, restaurant was beautiful so I'd go back.
We friend and I were seated by a young host how was personable. We were initially disappointed when we learned he was not out waiter, However our waitress turned out to be just as warm and friendly. Super staff, We dined outside and each had a different variety of sausage link. We shared the artichoke dip app. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared.
My all time favorite restaurant. I’ve never had anything bad here. Service is great, food is great, atmosphere is great. Prices are amazing. Love this place!
Little to no covid restrictions this place is PACKED! My moms salmon was uner cooked. My cheese steak French dip was clearly left under a heat lamp for a while with soggy bread and cold soggy fries.my dad ordered a steak cooked medium, it was cooked well and just not a good steak.both mine and my dads meals were recommended by our waiter, but we were grossly underwhelmed.the only positive thing I can say is my nephews fries that surprisingly came fresh were pretty good, not great just pretty good. But the child's meal did come out last which is hard for a kid, especially when they are hungry.
I cannot say enough good things about Stillwater Tavern, Corey, and his staff. I hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner there, outside at the space between Stillwater and Bella Brava. Corey’s communication with me and his attention to detail were beyond my expectations. His staff were friendly, efficient, and took care of the guests quickly and were so friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks tasty. I could not have asked for more and highly recommend for your next event. Everyone said what a great time they had and the view was beautiful. It was a great success!
Never disappointed when we visit. Drinks and food were delicious and Kayley our server was GREAT! All of the staff is very attentive right up to management.
Food and staff were absolutely amazing! Patrick offered fantastic recommendations - the Ramen and the catch of the day that ended up being sublime. 100% would recommend!
The GOAT approves of the Shrimp and Grits, a great place to grab a quick lunch that isn’t too pricy this is the place! Also the place to be for dinner with such a nice outdoor setting section
Excellent food, nice sidewalk dining and some of the best people watching in St. Petersburg. Bring your doggie they are welcome.
