Stirit Storage LLC, Fort Lauderdale FL

I am a student at NSU. Do not book with Stirit they may try to move you out of your dorm nearly a week early. I did everything as early as possible and selected from the times offered which all of them were the weeks I wanted to move. Then they scheduled me a nearly a week earlier than the selected time. They are difficult to get in touch with and I am super displeased and upset I wasted my time. Now reading the other reviews looks like I dodged a bullet.

Might be the worst community overall, I decided to give them a call to find out about the options for storage because I am from Nsu. The man on the phone was so rude and not helpful at all. Telling me there are 4 different fees on top of everything, I live on campus now but will not be next semester and I asked him what happens then. He said I would have to pay for the month of august meanwhile the program for dorm returning students is until august. He said it’s not because the company brings students belongings to the dorms in July. Not sure the point of paying for storage, when your stuff isn’t even being held there. He said this program will not work for you and hung the phone up on me. I’m not sure what kind of service this is because I could’ve been offered other arrangements but he was not interested and helping and shouldn’t even be working for customer service. Not sure how their service is but by reading reviews I assume it’s no good. Definitely not trusting them with my stuff
