Stone Mountain Creamery reviews
17Ice cream was yummy. Wouldn’t recommend getting a unique cone- very bland. Customer service is less than impressive. Be prepared to bring in a smile to share with the workers!
Great ice cream. Only qualm was the owner looked and behaved like he wanted to be anywhere else.
Showed up at 12: 30pm and no one was in store in saturday. Hours posted on door say 10 am opening. Seems like this place is out of business or does not want people to spend money in a busy mall. Please save gas and go somewhere else where you are valued and your business is wanted.
Deceptive pricing. They don't tell you about add on pricing until you get to the register. Cheap ice cream, not flavorful. Cheap add ons. I won't be back.
Only patronize if you want really bad, rude service. Empty joint, with a jerk working. 1 guy, no one else. Publix has better ice cream. Save your money.
The guy working (assuming the owner) is miserable. Heard the way he talked to other customers & decided to take our business elsewhere. Rude & miserable. Go up the street to Tipsy Udder, great selection & service with a smile!
The guy working is extremely rude and has no customer service skills. Seems to hate his job and didn't want to engage in any conversation and couldn't even make eye contact. Ice cream is average.
Zero stars if possible. Yes, the ice cream is bad, but this place is a hazard. They yelled at us to keep it down (we were a party of 10). It's an ice cream shop not a library. Then they kept yelling as we left. Once we were outside someone from the shop came out and got in my face in front of my family and threatened to punch me. He also dared me to punch him first and made contact with me. Totally outrageous and this place should be closed down. Also the ice cream is not even good. As we were leaving the guy lurked in the parking lot and took pictures and video of my family and my truck. If you like being assaulted when getting ice cream with your family, you might enjoy this place.
The girl working was chomping on gum while making customers ice cream hello safety violation! Both her and the man working was rude to customers because it was 15 minutes before closing. Definitely won't ever visit this establishment again.
Owner was busy washing windows while we waited. Also it seemed rather pricey. $7 for regular sundae. Nothing special
Wow, too bad the guy behind the counter had to make this ice cream trip awful! Mr personally, NOT! Rude! Ice cream was decent but he made a bad experience.
Horrible customer service. We showed up at 9: 15 when it closed at 10 and he wouldn’t serve us. He flicked off our family and threatened us that he had a gun. We will be reporting him.
The guy with the blue shirt on is RUDE!
Maybe if the sign on the wall had names as to what kind of shake it it, he wouldn't have to answer questions which causes his rudeness. Please he fail to put the oreo cookie on my shake!
If I could leave a ZERO I would. We went here a few years ago and had a terrible experience. The ice cream was bootleg Cold Stone but the customer service was even more terrible.
Two years later we come back, and the SAME guy behind the counter is there, with the same attitude. He was rude to my 5 year old who politely asked for a certain color cup, and nastily snapped when my dad sat down for a second. There was no sign that indicated that we couldn’t sit inside. Nevertheless we got up and made our way out. I told the guy he was rude and he began to get confrontational with me. The workers act like customers are a bother and an inconvenience.
Either the workers are sabotaging the business or the owner doesn’t care to hire a better staff.
NEVER going back.
This place seemed like a very nice, clean creamery spot. It wasn’t until I met with the male server that had TERRIBLE customer service. We asked if they had kid’s size cups, and he responded, “no, what you see right there is what we have”. My daughter asked for a specific cup and he impatiently and nastily told my 4 year old “you’re going to need to wait”. Other family members that were with us bought their ice cream and they began to eat their own as they waited for us to order our, and the employee began to say “I already told you no inside dining”. We were already aware of such and our family members were only waiting there for no longer than 5 minutes until we got our ice cream so we can leave as a group. There was only 5 of us in total. I understand that due to COVID there is rules to abide by and my family and I follow them a great amount. There are just certain ways to speak to customers, and this employee did not have any sense of customer service whatsoever. I would not recommend this place at all.
Wow.how is this place still in business? The rudeness is on a different level. I should have listened to the previous reviews. I guess the owner is independently wealthy to be ok with a rude staff. Apparently its normal for this place. Never will I return.heed the warnings. Stay far away. I don't believe in the Cancel Culture but this place is not conducive to customer friendliness! I wonder if service would have been better if we had been white? The family I front of us received pretty good friendly service.hummm coincidence?
