Stone Soup Cafe & Pub, St. Petersburg FL

I had the stone soup salad today. It was good, the pears were ripe and there was plenty of feta cheese.
The service was exceptional.

Our little group met for lunch on Saturday for a Halloween soiree lunch. I enjoyed the lunch menu.

Love the food. But the past couple of times the place seems to have a political atmosphere. Some customers wearing political hats and shirts. Cars in the parking lot with political flags. I am just looking to enjoy my meal.

Went here for brunch/breakfast and tried all the breakfast items. Everything was great-avocado toast, candied bacon, waffle and bruleed grapefruit. The stuff is very nice and the place looks very clean.

The definition of underwhelming. The friendly attitude and trendy appearance was quickly betrayed by an extended wait for a drink resulting in the saddest bloody Mary of my life. I was excited for my order of fried chicken and french toast, but I was given 3 chicken fingers and some bastardized version of french toast that was more like sugary stale bread. The breakfast bowl and AM panini were equally sad. The lobster bisque was more like a bowl of salt; the kind waitress said there was extra lobster - more like extra lousy! Most concerning was the appalling condition of the bathrooms which made us worry about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Although the people were nice, I would recommend seeking out soup elsewhere.

Amazing as usual. Had a business lunch w/ a peer and it was the perfect setting for a meal with discussion. Lisa was wonderful.

Very nice little hole in the wall place. I got their Turkey, Bacon, and Cheddar panini and it was very good! Definitely will be coming back to this place again.

Server, Nicole, knew the breads have eggs but double checked even though she was super busy! I had the Asian Chicken Wrap with spinach instead of mixed greens. Very delicious! Nice outside dining that is fully covered.

Awful service, orders are consistently wrong, and the staff is straight up rude. The food was good in the past but I won’t be back. There are plenty of other locally owned St. Pete options. I’d recommend checking one of them out before taking a leap of faith in this hole in the wall

Sandwiches were great, but the soup was a little bland. Service was terrible. 2 sandwiches and iced teas took us over an hour. Bartender said she was going to get us our check and took another 20 minutes and 2 more requests from us to actually get our check and pay. Bartender seemed to go out of her way to take care of other people before us.

Was referred by a friend, went for dinner last night and my girlfriend and I both ordered a bowl of soup with a half sandwich, she had the Italian Wedding Soup and I had the Gumbolaya and we shared the Super Cheese sandwich. Everything was served hot and delicious. Our waiter was courteous and efficient. The only issue was that we really wanted the Mushroom and Brie soup listed as one of the Soup's on their website. Our waiter said that they don't often update their website, so there's not any to know what the soup of the day is.
