Stonewood Grill & Tavern reviews
17Service was extremely slow for us. All the other tables were waited on in a friendly and timely manner but mines wasn't. I got a BBQ combo ribs was bland, Bakr beans taste like chili. My son's burger was missing the BBQ never brought it out. It w as a regular burger not $20 worth.
Stopped in to have a drink and munchies at the bar. Was to by other patrons that the seats were saved, about seven open seats. I asked the bartender can that be? Saving seats at the bar like it’s third grade? I was told that the patrons were good customers from Margaritaville. Stood waiting for a a table approximately 15 minutes, bar seats yet to be filled. I told the bartender I would not become a good customer any time soon and left. Went to nearby Fords Garage. Had a pretty good time there.
Unassuming location and decor but fantastic food. Very worth the price. Love the pork chop.
Great for watch parties and date night, spacious sports bar, spotless dining area, staff was phenomenal, seasonal menu was amazing. Great dining experience
Great place to eat and meet family and friends very friendly people and very clean i will go back again
The service and food was outstanding! Our server Paul was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and we followed his recommendations and were not disappointed. Two of us had the wedge salad + steak and the other had the seasonal butterfish. It was all great. Paul even went out of his way to spend more time at our table to make us feel welcome AND took a family picture for us. We also had the Old Fashioned and gimlet for cocktails. Well crafted. We will be back again!
Food was really good. Service was a tad slow. 1 waitstaff for a group of 20 WITH reservations so not like they didn't know we were coming. I would go again though with maybe a couple of good friends.
We go here often, try the pretzel rolls and the Asian Salad!
We had a great server, Michael, for our last visit. He was personable, and made sure we were satisfied. Thanks!
Food was delicious and very nice atmosphere. Pricing is fairly good too. Got there about 1150 and place was empty then it filled up completely within 20-30 minutes. I recommend for lunch and dinner.
This is a beautiful restaurant. Sadly the food and service were less than great. We ordered the smoked salmon. The toast points were stale and soggy. When we complained, the server said all of the toast points were stale and brought us Cucumber slices. Why they just didn't toast more bread is beyond me. We also had a ribeye that was undercooked (we asked for it medium) and had zero seasoning. Plus the outside was closed. Very dissapointing all around.
I wanted to fill you in on the turn out of my daughters sweet 16 dinner we had therr with anout 25 guests. I was pretty disappointed with the night. The big reason I switched my event to Stonewood was because I wanted quality food and service. We were celebrating my daughters sweet 16 so it was a special night. We had Micheal and Tiffany. Micheal was absolutely amazing, I really wanted to point that out. Tiffany wanted to make sure everyone sat in the specific seats to order dinner that way when the food came out it could be organize which I totally understood as I was a server and bartender for 8 years so I made everyone sit before we placed the order. After ordering it took probably 25 minutes for the salads to come out which I thought was a little weird but whatever, we were having fun so I didn't think much of it. The food took long as well but the big issue was how absolutely unorganized it was. 6 or so people ordered filet, several ordered sirloin, many with mashed potatoes. Almost every single person was given the wrong steaks. Most that ordered filet got sirloin and so on. Several were cooked wrong and had to get sent back, probably because they were given to the incorrect people. My food, as well as my husband, mother and mother in law got our food after everyone was finished, a solid 20 mins after everyone else. Tiffany gave a little bit of an attitude to a couple guests about it when it was addressed but i chopped it up to maybe she waa stressed out about it. I would think a place like Stonewood would be better prepared for a party. If you have that many steaks going out with similar sides, there should have been a system, tags or something in them to identify the difference between filet/sirloin, and temp differences. I made sure everyone stayed in the seats they ordered from to make sure to comply with Tiffanys request as well but obviously it didn't help at all. I didn't complain, even the manager came over to check as one of the servers told him the issues but I didn't make it a big deal. I didn't want to get upset at my daughters event with my whole family there but I was extremely disappointed. I spent close to $1k between food, alcohol, and tip and left feeling unhappy. I was surprised to hear they were both taking other tables, not sure if that had anything to do with all the unorganization but it was a mess.
I sent this email to management and not one response.
The restaurant is çlean, the staff is knowledgeable about the menu, the food is delicious. The Asian Chicken Salad is my favorite with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. My wife ordered the Salmon Salad which she said it was wonderful.
The waitress came fast, very polite, the food came fast and the ginger lime salmon bowl delicious.
I've never had a bad experience at Stonewood, and I do patronize this establishment often
I am simply amazed at how beautiful the atmosphere and how warm in the great soothing music is at stonewood tavern and grill in Daytona. Wellington was our server. He was most professional, attending and funny and a happy disposition and calm at the same time. Divine service. My dad's father's day was a hit. He is hard to please. The food was sensational. Thank you stonewood. I will be back to see Wellington and taste more of the food. The sangria is absolutely the best I've ever had. Real blackberries filthy dirty cherries raspberries oranges the whole nine yards. I highly recommend it
The hostess was rude but the waitress was extra friendly. The food didn't taste that good for the price. It was ok but lacked flavor.
Beautiful restaurant! Food was delicious! Shared the salmon appetizer, blackened chicken pasta and creme brulee.
