Stonewood Grill & Tavern, Jacksonville FL

My first time there but this place was AMAZING! We were there to celebrate my daughter's 24th birthday. They were able to accommodate a party of 15 without a wait or hesitation. The drinks and food was tasty. The Entrees were seasoned to perfection.
Our servers, Savannah and Alex, were very attentive to our needs. They did a great job!

Did I mention the food was good? Oh my goodness, it was delicious. I highly recommend this place. And I'll definitely be back

We had a wonderful server tonight Alisa. She made our dining experience this evening very enjoyable with her great service. Our food was delicious. Looking forward to returning soon.

The food was great. The service was good, but a bit slow. But overall we were very satisfied and enjoyed our dinner.

Food was ok not my top choice for going out to eat as I wasnt impressed with food choices. The service was slow much longer than anticipated. Not sure what was going on with the waitress but she somehow messed up my friends order. As she requested not to have 2 certain items and food came out with those items. Now we were there during happy hour so enjoyed 2 margaritas would have lime 1 more but sue to service being so slow we never did get that drink

My first visit to any Stonewood.
As we were seated the GM (John?) came by and found out it was my first time. He provided a nice welcome and let us know about some of the specials along with the wonderful server Alisa.

Everything was yummy and will be back looking forward to creme brûlée on my next visit.

I have now eaten here 4 times. Once for my birthday in 2019 and all my guests enjoyed their meals and bar drinks. Then 3 times in the last 4 months. Their seasonal pork chop, mashed potatoes and asparagus are delicious, I'm sad it's no longer available. But their chicken pasta, salmon and steak are also very delicious! Carry out was polite and they only once forgot an order of mashed potatoes. I can't wait until Covid allows us to dine inside safely!

Service was horrible. They're special chips were all burnt. Took forever to get our food and dessert very disappointed

Comfortable with attentive service. Food was adequate below expectations not at proper temperature and steak not equal to grocery WD choice. The steak is sold by weight, which is subpar considering the cost. The steak should be thicker. The 3 to 5 once difference in weight and the thickness makes the value. Bait and don't deliver. The true experience is with greater than or equal to 1 inch thickness. Your charge is their cost for ruining a potentially better steak. You get what they think you will settle for based on their cost. The true value is $3-6 dollar additional cost, which is above their target market. You get what you pay for, but a chef, with some discretion, could add value to the experience. Items are likely prepackaged without a chef to bring life too.

My wife and I were worried about eating somewhere since we aren't locals. The buildings around make it look like it wouldn't be good, but it was awesome! Good service and great food. Will return again if in Jacksonville again.

Enjoyable dinner, as always! Great atmosphere and following Covid guidelines. Staff was excellent! I highly recommend.

Great food and unique flavors. Drinks are on point too. Doesn't break the bank for quality, portions, and tastefulness.

What a great place to have a sit-down meal. Steaks are top-notch. And the bar scene is good even during the pandemic, it's better when the pandemic is not happening. Parking lot is always crowded place is always full.

Really nice happy hour if you sit in the bar. The buffalo shrimp were the best out of the appetizers.

The food is amazing. My favorite is the Short ribs with butternut squash ravioli. Happy hour is great!

Great place for a relaxed dinner with friends and great food. Often overlooked but worth checking out.

First & last time going here. Food was ok, prices way too high for what you get. We had a family gathering & had to wait approximately 40min to be seated. Even though they knew we were coming. We kept being told our table was ready, but we weren't being seated.

The food, service, server, everything was great. Haven't had a great overall experience like this in awhile. Please ask for Kyle he was the best server!

Family made reservations in advance and we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. I, personally, couldn't wait and I left.

My wife and I have been here on 2 occasions, both for our anniversary and we never regret our decision to come. The staff is very attentive and the food is outrageously good! We are going to make it a tradition to come here for our anniversary.

Service was great. Our server, Emerald, was a real gem. Food was excellent. Arrived in a timely manner. Everyone's dishes were delicious. Presentation of food exceeded our expectations. It was a great dining experience with close friends and family.
