Stottlemyer's Smokehouse, Sarasota FL

The food was very good but we dined in and everything was single use plastic. The utensils, plates, containers. I felt SO guilty afterwards. I don’t know if they are unable to find someone to wash dishes or what but I can’t go back.

Best place in Sarasota to grab a cold brew and enjoy really good live music! Great old Florida ambiance.dance floor.wonderful aroma of BBQ on the smoker. It doesn't get any better!

The food was delicious and the staff was excellent. Nice outdoor tiki bar vibe. Will definitely return.

Food was awful. I ordered chicken gizzards and they weren't cooked properly and were hard as rocks. They apparently just deep fried them without par boiling them first. Venue is too family oriented for me. Band, Ry Road, was ok but they were so much better when I saw them at a different venue.

This place is awesome. Love the food and atmosphere. Who would expect a sweet smoke house tiki bar and in this location? Everything we ate and drank hit the spot. The Fried Green Tomatoes where sooooo good. I couldn't stop eating them. I almost ordered a 2nd order because they where that good.

Matt was awesome and on top of his game and suggested the 3 meat combo for me and my wife. Cornbread amazing!

The brisket did not disappoint. The stuffed jalapeños were delicious. The sides were good, not great. Atmosphere was fun and beachy! I'll be back for more!

DO NOT come here if you want BBQ, they have tacos, empanadas, sh*try pizza. Pulled up, smoker not on, serving day old brisket. If you read the reviews one out of 10 said they had barbecue, the rest just enjoyed the music and the beer, and the frozen deep fried onion rings. If I had four hands I'd give this four thumbs down

I work nearby, used to go to three times a week, However, The last five times I've been there I've had to wait over 15 MinutesTo even be acknowledged. I leave hungry more than satisfied! Even if there are only 5 customers! Obviously flirting with the men at the bar is more important than keeping customers who patronize your business

My last visit was absolutely horrendous. I stopped in because I noticed there was no line for once to get a sandwich to go and there was so much fat that I could barely even eat it more than half of the sandwich was fat and the rest of it was fat too. It was disgusting.

Best food in Sarasota this place folks is a must and the music is out of this world! What a great place!

Come early for outside seating and band, gets very busy! Waitresses and waiters are all friendly, timely.
Prices are decent. Food is great! Bands are great! Diff types of beer, and mixed drinks, and I think wine (I don't drink wine so I'm not sure)
The loaded nachos are our favorite!

Had the bacon wrapped Jalapeños.very slight taste of cheese.bacon was burned.they were supposed to be smoked but they were crunchy.would not recommend
