Strada in the Grove, Miami FL

Left some personal belongings at the table after dinner. Returned to the restaurant within 5 minutes of departure. All staff confirmed they located my belongings. Eventually they told me they threw my belongings in the trash. Why would a restaurant throw someone’s belongs away and not even keep it for the night? Terrible terrible shame shame. Food was good though. Too bad…

The restaurant is in a great location in Coconut Grove with a nice private side entrance. The overall decor and ambiance were very charming and pleasant.
Food was barely ok. Pasta was slightly overcooked, the amatriciana had basically no pancetta in it, crostoni were mediocre.
Service was disappointing
Our server was quite inattentive, forgetful and unable to describe some of the dishes.
Strada is definitely a cool place that has a lot of potential. But if you are looking for quality Italian food and good service I would not recommend it.

Great place for lunch with friends and family. Reserve a table outside. Everything we tried was excellent. Sauces are just right notbtoo heavy.

We had the burrata appetizer,
Branzino and Risotto frutta di mare. Also a great bottle of Barolo 2018. All were excellent.

Definitely one of the best Cacio & Pepe I ever had in Miami. The place was packed so the service was a bit slower than the usual. It’s always a good experience in general.

Cozy and elegant restaurant. The staff is super nice. Truffle fries were crunchy but was lacking the Truffle. We had the Parpadelle con crema di Porcini which was 9/10 and the Fettuchini al Ragu which my boyfriend rated 7/10

Everything was just amazing. Best risotto I’ve had in a long time. Desserts were delicious specially the creme brûlée. Service was excellent too. I’ll be back soon.

What a nice place and incredibly nice staff! We decided to try this restaurant during Miami Spice, the Miami Spice Menu was exceptional, and service was an absolute dream! Raul was an expert at making us feel appreciated and may us enjoyed our lunch so much because he was on point!

The food is fresh, flavorful and so YUMMY! We had options and from beginning to end. No rushing just savoring our food and the place its no nice.

We were pleased to give it a try, and will come again!

Great food great service everything was wonderful until the end of the meal. Why would you put a $1.50 fir tab water at the end of the meal to ruin the whole concept of the restaurant.

Good Service, nice atmosphere. The table in the middle was not our first choice.
The classica starter was delicious, but the crusted bread was uncuttable with the knife, so hand-mouth-enjoy-taste is the way to go. My wife liked the risotto. It was huge portion and she couldn't eat half. A bit more flavor would have been nice though, but this is probably personal taste.
My Paillard di Pollo was good, a bit thin and dry. The sauteed broccoli was great, the potato gratin not my favorite.
The wife had 1 glass of pinot griggio, I drank a glass of cabernet sauvignon, a carefully filled glass.
We paid with a standard tip 125$.
All together a good experience, with a bit room for improvement.on this price tag.

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch with the ladies and Strada and realized it’s a place I really should visit more often! Wonderful Italian food and attentive service. Make sure to save room for dessert! A little more upscale than the neighboring restaurants. Well worth a visit!

Always spot on Italian cuisine! Surprising with both classics and new special dishes. You can never go wrong whilst dining at Strada!

Great authentic Italian food, simple but perfect in the quality of ingredients as it should be.
Service was really attentive and friendly, would definitely recommend for a nice relaxed lunch.

Our table was ready when we arrived and we were seated promptly. The open air seating in the rear offered a nice ambience with dim lighting. Upon request, our waiter brought 2 bottles of wine for me to review the labels. I selected a $50 Rioja which was at the modestly priced end of the spectrum. Once the waiter saw I wanted the lesser priced wine, which I recognized as a $12 value wine at the wine shop, he suggested a "special Rioja" which was priced at $400. That was the first ding he earned against his tip.

The 4 of us ordered 2 salads to split; the farrow and the Mediterranean. Each was split in the kitchen and served. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mediterranean salad however the other couple was greatly disappointed because their farrow salad was mostly farrow, a starchy grain, and hand very little of the expected greens.

Our main courses were mixed.

Since Strada has a reputation for good pasta Our friends ordered the gnocchi which was very disappointing. The gnocchi was mushy and tasted like old mashed potatoes in ketchup. It should have been al dente with a more flavorful sauce.

The Veal scaloppine in mushroom sauce was very good but the portion was a bit small. The salmon was a huge portion which could have fed two hungry diners. It was superbly prepared and presented with French green beans and scalloped potatoes.

We were disturbed by two misbehaving children about 5 years old who were running around the restaurant chasing each other, shrieking, and screaming loudly. The parents refused to control them until we asked the manager to intervein. We were surprised that none of the staff were proactive in asking the parents to keep their children at their table; especially after it was obvious that we were being disturbed and asked the children to stop charging our table several times.

Overall, I rate our experience as average; nothing special and somewhat disappointing. Without the screaming kids, the ambience would be great and knowing the right things to order would make a better dining experience. A waiter with the customer experience as a higher priority than his tip amount would raise the rating significantly.

Went for my wife’s Christmas dinner with her job, the staff was on point. Wine glasses were always filled. The only issue was the filet mignon ordered well done and it was raw. Like everyone in my table. I know we were large group but they should have a bit more kit hen control with the dishes. At this point we’re talking about more than 10 dishes that the meat was undercooked or not to the persons liking. Great ambiance and I love the non gender bathrooms.

As an Italian, I can say that this restaurant is everything but Italian.however service was nice and staff was friendly! I wish I could give more stars to thi place.

Food is delicious. Outside area is a little crowded a lot of people walking through.
Highly recommend the crab cake, burrata and pumpkin pasta dish. Gilbert was awesome patient and made good recommendations.

One of the worst Italian restaurants I have ever been in my life, bad service our waiter looks like he was in a rush at all times, the pasta look and taste like it was straight from a can it was that bad that I still have a stomach ache from this garbage, very sorry I had to describe it like that but is the honest truth.

Absolutely amazing! I am from NYC and we were staying in coconut grove for a week. I was craving pasta, we searched around the grove and came across Strada. Let me just say I had little expectations as NYC is by far the best place for pasta and bread. The pasta from here was to die for, the bread was even better and the service was excellent. This place was so good that we ate here 3 times for dinner. Definitely recommend trying it out, 10/10!
