Stretch Zone, West Palm Beach FL

I was going to just let this go but the more I think about what has happened the more it doesn’t make sense to me. I was “let go” a few days ago stating I was constantly late and that I had clients requesting not to train with me. I’ll admit I was late a few times (before their session even started) and it was casually mentioned to me by the GM (there was no formal conversation nor any sort of official documentation that was signed). As for the clients requesting to train with other people, that may be possible, however when I asked what specifically did I need to work on to improve my performance at work, the GM apparently didn’t know any details. What I find suspicious is that I have had reoccurring clients and that only requested to train with me, because I try to get to know them and give them pointers and/or advice to help them with their pain and daily activities (I have no knowledge of upper management talking to my regular clients). Also, due to me being one of the only employees who worked the closing shift, most of my clients have only trained with me and would most likely not have trained with anyone else.

The day before I was let go, one of workers asked for my key because “he left his at home”, which I found strange, but of course I complied with his request. Then, that night the GM texted me saying that since I didn’t have anyone on my schedule for the next day not to come in and to expect a call from him, and right then and there, I knew something was up. Apparently, he started canceling all my appts and texting/calling them saying that I no longer work for Stretch Zone behind my back, and he did this right before calling me to let me go. I was never given a chance to have a sit down and have a proper conversation about how I was doing at work, nor was I able to ever find out why people suddenly didn’t want to train with me.

I accommodated their need for someone to work their closing shift, and later requested to take a block so I can pick up my kids from school, and then open my schedule from 9am to 8pm, but instead my hours were cut. Within days I was fired. Right before Christmas, with a pregnant wife and our two kids at home. As a former GM, this is definitely not how to treat an employee. I believed in being honest and upfront with employees. I would have given them a verbal warning and if that didn’t work, issue an official warning with documentation before deciding to formally let them go. This has worked in my past experience, 3 out of 4 times, because giving someone a “probation period” gives them the proper knowledge and motivation to improve.

Everything about how what transpired prior to my termination were huge red flags, from being unable to effectively communicate my need of improvement, to hiding behind a coworker to get my key and calling my clients behind my back before reaching out to me…

If 2 latenesses is all that is necessary as grounds for termination, then what are the grounds for terminating a GM? Because of their position, it’s okay for them to have several days a week without anyone scheduled to train with them, yet come in and clock in to work? And it’s fine for them to leave after only being at work for most or half of their shift?

I would give this man 10 stars if I could. Randy is professional, funny, considerate, and excellent at his job. He is very patient when I have came in late a couple times but still has a smile on his face and great energy. He integrates new techniques and has helped me extend my range of motion and stretched back years of stress, all thanks to Randy and SZ! Anyone considering this place needs to stop thinking and get their membership yesterday!

I was skeptical of the whole idea. I've been walking with a cane for over 2years and stiff as a plank. I need a hip replacement and went and saw Dillon Green there. Was holding off getting a stretch done for so long then realized there’s a stretch zone close by and did a 30 minute free stretch with Randy which is the stretch GOAT of stretch zone. Every session with Randy is worth it. Randy gets every angle, muscle, and guide you through every stretch. Randy builds a connection with you that makes every session comfortable, sleepy, and relaxed. Y’all need to come through stretch zone get that stretch done I recommend Randy.

Went here after years of chronic neck pain and sincerely got the best stretch of my life. Their techniques are very effective and helped relieve so much of my pain. Staff was also very friendly! 11/10 recommend for pain relief and just relaxing!

I was having back pain and a friend told me about stretch zone, so I decided to try it out, was greeted by a friendly staff, felt conformable and I am very pleased with the results. I never knew how much this would help, will definitely recommend going, I know I will go back soon!

Hands down one of the best things I have done. I work from home and am sitting at my desk all day. Since I now go two times per week i feel like a new person. You will not be disappointed and will be addicted after the first time.

I have had trouble with a knee replacement. Since going to Stretch Zone the pressure on my knee has been much better. Made easier to move around

Great customer service and always a great place to go when you’re feeling tight and overall physically stiff. I’m glad a place like this exists.

I feel like results are visible and tangible, you can actually feel the increase in mobility and range of motion. When the muscles remain tight (especially the back muscles) I feel a consistent pain throughout the day. The stretching allows me to relieve the pain and makes the day a little more enjoyable.

Great experience. It is the highlight of my week. Highly recommend Stretch Zone for an amazing stretch. I always felt better on my exit than my entry.

The therapist are fantastic

I couldnt touch my toes and now i can. Great first experience! I didn't think a stretch could feel better than a massage, but I was wrong. I felt so much relief after my first stretch. I would definitely recommend to anyone suffering from lower back pain, or who wants to improve their mobility.
