The docs and staff at Suburban Animal Hospital are great! We love Dr. Blair! She is very kind, patient and understanding with our situation.

We switched our pup to Suburban after a bad bout of digestive problems, and we couldn’t be happier with the practice. Dr. Brewster is great and the support staff are all fabulous.

Dr Nipper is very personable and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions very easily and she helped me greatly. The tech Aurora was the one I worked with mostly was also very efficient and took all the vitals and the stool samples. We got all the vaccines up to date. I will probably stay with Suburban for the life of my pets. The hardest part is paying the bill!

My dog is afraid of everything. The staff is so patient and sweet to her. Highly recommend.

The vet and vet tech were so kind to my dog. I really appreciated how gentle they were with her. She gets nervous at the vet and they did everything they could to make her feel more comfortable.

I’ve been visiting for my recent annual check up and an issue one of my cats had, Suburban has been great! They are very professional and have great communication, everyone is upfront and kind and they don’t take advantage of you. Prices are extremely reasonable. I will be coming to Suburban for all my future vet needs!

I have been taking my dogs to Suburban Animal Hospital for almost 20 years. I have gone to many animal clinics and hospitals throughout my life and have found Suburban to be the best.

My dog has consistent health issues but at Suburban Animal Hospital I know she is always getting the best care and treatment.

Friendly staff that are very sweet towards the animals, even when they are being grumpy. When I've had a couple cats be put down, they provided us with empathy and truly cared for us. We've never had a bad visit here, and have been going for years. Highly recommended!

Hope and Dr. Bush are awesome with our nervous new rescue dog. They are so kind and took extra time and care to try to make the visit as stress free for our boy as possible.

Suburban Animal Hospital has been wonderful for my shy and nervous dog, Poppy. They even managed to clip a few of her nails. I find the staff to be very friendly and it’s clear they care deeply about their patients! The pricing seems reasonable and they are great about sending reminders for my dog’s vaccines or prevention medications. If you are new to the Gainesville area or looking for a new vet, I would recommend! I can’t speak to their boarding services though.

If I could give Zero stars I would. I see all these great reviews but mine isn’t that. My elderly parents took their dog to Dr Nipper for years. Always dealing with inconsistent care and price gouging. Their dog had a small growth in his foot in February where he was examined by Dr. Nipple and she said “ this is nothing and it will go away” fast forward to May, the dogs growth has grown exponentially! She wanted to refer them to another vet after she saw the massive, fast growth and that she was negligent, she wanted to push them off on someone else. My parents took their 6 year old otherwise healthy dog to another vet who did the right thing and aspirated the mass and it came back as an aggressive Mast Cell Tumor. Oh remember “ this is nothing” back in February when Dr Nipple should have taken this seriously and move forward with treatment, we would not be where we are today. This week, May parents dog had his toe amputated as well a lymph node that was infiltrated with cancerous cells. This is complete negligence and lack of care of an animal and elderly people who trusted her with his care. I’m disgusted with this Vet. We are now looking at over 5k in expenses and praying he is clear with no chemo or further treatment needed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND trusting this place with your pet. We are heartbroken.

Dr. Nipper and other vets there gave me tremendous help with my little cat when she had an obstruction. Very scary time. And I really enjoy our visits for regular exams. They always take their time and give me good advice

Great staff super friendly. Went out of their way to make sure our 13 year old mini dachshund, 3 year old Beiwer terrier, and 4 month Great Dane felt comfortable through checkup and vaccinations

Dr. Ahn is the best vet in Gainesville for many reasons. He made one of the hardest days of my life, to this day, into as "good" of experience as it could have possibly been. The day I had to make the decision to put Cody my best friend of 15 years to sleep because of lung cancer. Thank you for being so compassionate and professional, it was a huge comfort to have you help me through the process.
To all complaining of the high prices, nobody is forcing you to go here! You get what you pay for, if you want to take a chance on your pets health then go to a cheaper place. It's really not much more anyways.

It was our first time ever at this Animal Hospital and it was awesome. They made us all feel super comfortable. All staff was super friendly and very informative. They showered our Pitty with all the attention she loves. They helped us get what we needed to help our fur baby. Will definitely be coming here for all our Vet needs.

My kitties have now been going to Suburban Animal Hospital for 7 years. This past year they each suffered an illness. Their care was excellent. I can't imagine entrusting their healthcare elsewhere.
