I was intrigued to give this place a shot since it's been generating quite the buzz. It's been a while since I've had some delectable French pastries, especially since being in Tampa. So, I decided to check it out. The ambiance is quite pleasant, with lovely live plants adorning the place. I opted for their Croissant egg sandwich with bacon, but let me tell you, it definitely didn't live up to its hefty price tag of $13.50. I also tried their Shitake and shallot egg soufflé, but alas, it fell short as well. Panera's egg soufflé croissants are a far better choice, my friends. The ham and cheese croissant was pretty mediocre. I also indulged in some macarons – the purple (taro) flavor was delightful, but the pistachio and caramel ones left much to be desired. On the upside, their Passionfruit sour sop tart was absolutely divine, and I will definitely be purchasing it again, along with their Japanese cheesecake. Service got 2 stars since they forgot one of our orders and had to remind them 20 mins later.

I am in love with this place! The coffee, the pastries, everything! If you are in the area I would definitely stop in and try something! Everything was delicious

Ridiculously expensive prices! Passing through the area and stopped for desserts/bakery items. $13.50+ for ONE slice of cake? ! Over $10 each for single serve desserts. I've been to Paris, and their prices were reasonable, not like this location. Found a bakery across the street with a range of $3 and up for delicious desserts with large portions.

I enjoyed a very delightful and delicious meal with all I eat being what I remember from my childhood, I recommend this place highly, your welcome.

I've been here 3 times. The quality of the food doesn't justify the expensive price. A bougie bakeshop better suited for people looking for new taste/experience but not for delicious or rave-worthy food.

SOURSOP PASSION TART $14 for a small tart: 6.5/10, the sugar overpowered the taste. I couldn't really taste the fruitness of it, mostly just sugar

CARROT Goat-Cheese CAKE $15/slice - 5.5/10 too much icing. Not balanced with the cake. It's like 60% icing. Plus the icing on the outer part tasted like pure butter (eww), had to throw it. But the cake would have been good because I liked the filling inside. Wish there were more cake than icing.

KOUIGN-AMANN 9/10 (Under $8) - this one i genuinely enjoyed and would recommend but I still find it too pricey for a simple pastry. It's not too sweet and i like the texture

LAVENDER LATTE - 7/10 - It was okay, you can definitely taste the lavender but not the best.

I searched for a French bakery but they don't have baguettes and not much anything French except for their croissants. Expensive as well even for South Tampa. Three items for over $30.

Highly disappointing and I'd never come back.

For a french patisserie passionate, this seems to be THE ONLY PLACE in all Tampa. Totally worth every penny, really good food quality, coffee and attention. The only disadvantage is that is closed on Sunday. If you are around Tampa you must stop here for some coffee and croissants.

I went to Tampa for a family trip and found it on maps. I wanted to eat it so badly that I ran into the bakery before it closed. Most of it was sold out, so I bought a pear cheesecake and a blueberry tart. At first, I thought it was just a local bakery and thought it was too expensive. I felt Florida was cheaper compared to New York and Florida. But omg. I went to heaven at my first bite. I loved both of them. But I highly recommend you to get pear cheesecake! Every bite was worth the money, and I would love to try everything in the bakery. I'll definitely visit again when I get back to Tampa.

Recently enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast at my favorite cafe. I indulged in a chocolate pistachio croissant that was heavenly, with the perfect combination of flaky pastry and rich chocolate filling, topped with crunchy pistachios. The spinach gruyere soufflé was equally impressive, with its light and fluffy texture and savory cheese flavor. I can't get enough of this wonderful cafe and we often order from here to treat our colleagues at the office.

So, the first thing I will say is that the pastries here are wonderful. This is an incredible bakery; everything not only looks fantastic but what we had was just great. To eat we ordered the XL Pistachio Croissant and the Bacon Quiche Lorraine, to drink we had a Lavender Latte and a Cappuccino. Both the Croissant and the Quiche were incredible, nice size and great tasting. The Cappuccino was alright, not great but it was ok. The Lavender Latte was alright, a little larger than the Cappuccino, which was nice. Although the Lavender Latte was good, I would not exactly recommend ordering this unless you have had lavender coffee in the past and liked it.
The pros – food is great.
The cons – coffee not so great as compared to the incredible food.
The price – I thought I should say a couple words on the prices, first, the prices are listed online, so you know the cost before you arrive. I am not complaining about the prices, but you should a take look before going. For two coffees, the croissant, and quiche came to $40. If you pay by card the tip screen comes up and one kind of feels like a tip is needed, therefore, the total came to $48 and change. Again, I am not complaining about the prices as they are clearly listed on the website, it’s just something to think about. We have gone to Ocean Prime for lunch and had two complete meals including bread and a waiter stopping by the table to check on you for less than the price here for coffee and a pastry.
The only thing I would change about this place, the chairs are uncomfortable, cheap looking, metal chairs that are ice cold. They take away from the rest of the place. Also, for this kind of cost, and including a 20% tip, they should bring the coffee to your table and not call your name out to come pick up the coffee like a Starbucks. They should also ask you, or, bring you, a cup of water and napkins if you are eating in.
Considering everything I still give this place five stars because of the food, probably the best baked goods in Tampa.

Truly the best bake shop in Tampa there is no comparison. Beyond high quality and attention to detail is insane with the desserts made here. Worth every cent, these desserts are to DIE for.

Was a delicious little gem to find, the chocolate croissant is perfect. Their goat cheese carrot cake, not pictured is delicious! We also had a cafe con leche, overall 10/10. Expect to spend $ if you are ordering more than 1 item, but well worth it.

Food and drink prices were way overpriced. The pastries looked delicious, but $7 for a plain croissant? Other items were even costlier. Not for me.

Sucre is the bakery to hit if you want amazing pastries and don't mind paying a little extra. Their staff is super friendly and knows their stuff, so ask for recommendations! Every bite was heavenly, but be prepared to empty your wallet. Worth it for a special treat though!

I went over there for a croissant - when went inside to see it, it didn't look special - but when I saw it was $9.50. I left. I went to Moreno Bakery
