We spent a week camping and had a pull thru site for our 35’ fifth wheel. Due to the construction they blocked off half the road and turned our costly pull thru into a inconvenience due to having to move our truck every time someone wanted to drive down with their boat or camper. Also there is no one patrolling the campground at night we had a water main break and even though it was not the parks problem and was the cities they would of caught it and had notified the proper people earlier to get the water turned back in sooner. Also two nights in a row I was awoken to teenaged arguing and fighting outside at 1am. The campground did have some great staff but Cindy in the Marina was not so friendly and downright rude. We paid for a boatslip and was told that if it was empty we could put our boat in early. I went to go check on it and due to poor planning on the marina and allowing larger boats then expected they had to move slips around and instead of an explanation which I found out later Cindy provided us with a rude “No Check in is at 1” then after explaining we were just asking because we were told if it was empty we could we got another rude “no”. Then there is the dog park which was nothing but fake grass and a small ramp for a dog to climb on due to the fake grass it smelled of urine and we ended up waking the dogs down the main road. Lastly we made our reservations a year ago and we’re not notified of the issues with construction until later we were not only awaken by load construction noise across from our site but the load barking of dogs due to them not liking the beeping from the forklifts. And I forgot to mention the garbage trucks that speed through the campground doing 30mph while your kids are playing and riding bikes in the road. This campground was not worth the $200 a day we paid

Edit: Assistant manager (Doug), and a few of his colleges are absolutely racist! The discrimination is insane! This man called me a liar stating I lied about the size of my boat because the person in the boat dock with me wouldn’t fit, it was a simple fix to switch someone smaller with me, I argued my rights and he instantly threaten to call the cops and attempted to kick me out the campground, I have everything on video so the general manager came to calm the situation! Days later at the bar he was there with bartender and they denied drinks to my wife and parents because no ID’s on us! They laughed in our faces too, and from there on a few employees would drive by our camper laughing and pointing! I will be sharing my video and see what other la think including my Lawyers!

This year will be my last stay and the rumor of regulars as well, they are building new cottages and no parking, bands for pool etc, getting greedy like all businesses get at one point! Very disappointed this year!

Definitely the best Koa I've been to about 30 in the past 2 years. This place is literally a resort, great pool with a bar and cafe like a resort, not just a little bench with snacks this is the real deal. The first koa I've been too that delivers on what it advertises. You can tell when a koa invests money back into it's campground and when they just line their own pockets. This campground definitely invests in improving the campground. I'll definitely be coming back in the future. The only con was the amount of boats cluttering the campground, but this could have been because of the lobster season being a free for all for the weekend. Also the laundry facilities are the nicest I've ever seen at any koa. The washers and dryers are new and cleaned daily.

Beautiful place. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. But the no see ums made the entire stay unbearable and miserable. We were eaten alive from sun up til after dark. We couldn’t even step outside without getting swarmed with no see ums. We each have over 100 bites on us after the first day there. Was told a light breeze would keep them away. We had two fans blowing on us and still was bitten constantly. Beach area was not as nice as pictures show. Pool area seemed well maintained.

We’ve stayed in dozens of KOAs over the last five years. This is the best. 8/10ths paradise. Actually. Cleanest restrooms, friendliest staff, nice pool and cafe. Really great internet. Nice enough beach. Great marina staff. Closest KOA to Key West. Worth the price. We didn’t stay in any rooms, but our site was awesome.

Really nice, clean & well spaced sites with beautiful landscaping, strong wifi, full hookups, & the staff were great, too. A full bar at the heated saltwater pool was nice. Strongly suggest use of camping rugs and/or dog shoes for your larger furbabies, as the coral rock gravel hurt our St. Bernard's feet (required a vet visit while there), but apparently, it's very hard to grow grass there. Nice astroturf dog park with seating for the humans. Only docking a star because there wasn't much for kiddos aside from the pool or trampolines in the water of the very small beach area. A basketball net would be a great addition! Also, they're building some hotel-like structures to provide "cabin" rentals, which detracts a bit from some of the views. The location was perfect for being close to Key West & the other Keys, & there are endangered Key Deer in the sanctuary on Sugarloaf Key (we were blessed to be able to see a few). There are a nice boat slip & docks if you rent or bring a boat, & some sites had kayak launches. A small marina store had good stuff for fishing & natural repellant for the No-see-ums (small, biting, itchy, l'il bugs). The bugs weren't bad so long as the breeze was blowing, though. We'll def stay there again when we have time for the long road trip down from SC!

Best KOA ever! We thought we would only visit the Florida Keys once, but after having stayed at this KOA this is going to be one of our repeat trips. It was amazing. The campsites are beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds were amazing! Beautiful greenery all over the place. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfectly set up for our stay. The spaces, pool and garden are incredibly neat, the restrooms are always super clean, and the staff is super efficient and helpful. Special shout out to Robin who has great energy, is super kind, and made us feel at home.

The campground is mainly suited for RVs. There are 4 tent campsites on large cement slabs that have individual power and water for each site. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are super clean and in excellent condition located directly across from the tent sites. Tent sites have little to no privacy and get extremely hot during the summer! There are a LOT of Mosquitoes so come prepared!
The pool, sauna, bar/restaurant, and hammock area is nice.the kids loved it.
The customer service is excellent throughout.
Boat docks are in good condition along with having a marina store and gas station. The boat ramp is good. Any boat over 24ft is going to be challenging.

This was, by far, the most beautiful, plush, and clean KOA we have experienced so far in the last 10 years of RVing! It is plush, extremely well maintained, and has great staff! I almost want to keep this park secret because I can’t say enough about it. There’s a private beach, every site is a nice one no matter if it’s premium or not. The pool area includes corn hole, hammocks, boche ball, a covered bar area, live music sometimes, activities, and good food & drinks. We loved it!

Now offering propane tank filling. Very friendly staff. Just make sure your tanks are less than 12 years old on the DOT date stamp on handle!

Seven great days at this KOA. The campground is meticulously maintained and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool water was warm but normal for this time of year considering the heat index was in excess of 100 degrees every day we were there. I like that they make you wear a yellow wrist band in the pool to identify guests who are actually paying customers. Apparently they had issues with locals sneaking in the pool. Some people complained about the policy but you’re never going to make everybody happy. Campground located within 20 miles to Key West. Food nearby was great. Must try the Square Grouper restaurant just north of campground. We will definitely be back.

Pool was awesome! Rented a boat for the day and Cindy and Jeff at the Marina were so helpful and knowledgeable. Easy hook up for first time RVers and the pub games were fun. Definitely will come again.

Had issues and the manager offered no resolve. Will not return, or camp at any other koa. If I could give them no stars I would have.

Great clean place to camp. Full shower house with hot water and AC. Super clean sites. The fenced dog park with turf was phenomenal. The covered pools side bar had a great happy hour and music. Check in was super easy and we were met with smiling faces and an escort to our site. We WILL be back.
