Sumerset Apartments, Orlando FL

I went to this apartment to get rental information. The the at the front office was very nice and professional. The grounds outside looked clean and well kept from what I saw.

This place is terrible. My apartment was flooded from the hurricane and was moldy since November. The property manager Bridgette refused to dry my carpets up and/or install a new one. The mold made me terribly sick. I ended up in the hospital numerous times. All of my personal property was damaged due to mold. I’ve had to throw away numerous items due to damage. This complex was on the news for raising rent after the hurricane for people who needed their carpets changed from severe flooding. The neighbors are ridiculously loud. Bad kids running around yelling all day long. “Parents” let them do whatever they want until sundown. AC units leak regularly. There is always trash, old furniture, mattresses etc.all over the place. LETS NOT FORGET THE ROACHES. There are ROACHES AND ANTS EVERYWHERE! I kept my apartment clean and sprayed roach spray regularly and still found roaches every where. I had to break my lease and vacate the property early due to the severe mold issue and the complex sent me a letter to clean the apartment from top to bottom before moving out. Disgusting complex, disgusting management, disgusting location. Just an overall disgusting environment. I wouldn’t recommend this trash can to my worst enemy. Good luck if you plan on moving here. Make sure you have good health insurance and renters insurance.

Office staff are very rude and and definitely uninviting I called to speak with the property manager and she also doesn’t care to understand her office staff have bad attitudes because she has one as well but this isn’t where I stop I’m calling corporate I’ll find the owners themselves and tell them because the office staff feel because it’s low income they can be disrespectful

I have lived at Somerset apartments from September 2016 through April 2022 until purchasing my home. From my experience residing there the management team was kind and understanding. Also the maintenance responded to my requests promptly.

I went up there just testing the Waters the lady at the front desk was very rude her energy was way off I will definitely be looking elsewhere cuz I definitely don't want no issues where I live

Packages are stolen from the doors, the apartments are cracking, the bathrooms stink, the pipes, well, crazy, I finished the contract to get out.

Office staff is rude and uninviting. I feel discriminated against. I went up there about 3 times to apply and even though the had units available they gave me a hard time to apply. They look at you in disgust and make you feel unwanted. I'm over this place

Dirty apartments, please look elsewhere and don’t allow yourself to live here too long you all deserve better!
