5Great community! However, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT close on your house without having them fix every single item, even the minor ones- including paint. The construction superintendent will give you her word and promise that she wont leave you hanging but 2 months later you will still be waiting for these fixes. Our closing got pushed twice and the superintendent told us that she will take care of everything that was not ready after closing. She continue telling us the same thing for weeks and on week #3 she told us to contact the warranty team cause she could not do anything else. Now warranty states that they cant fix anything.the experience with D. R. Horton has been nothing but HORRIBLE. The quality of their work is subpar.
This has been the worst experience ever. They don't want to fix anything or have an excuse on why they shouldn't. Management is not accommodating, you have to run them down to get a short answer and no concern for your problems. My roof was not installed correctly, yard is full of holes and no grass, tub is stained, paint on doors is chipping, replaced seal on garage and never repainted. Customer service is the worst they will keep blowing you off until the end and say it's there responsibility.
UNETHICAL COMPANY! FRAUD! BE CAREFUL! Sale representatives and managers make false claims just to get the deal done. Contacted HQ and reported this and they have been unresponsive.
I bought this house. The house only is four walls and windows. Poor design. Is not functional, no open floors. The warranty services are absolutely the worse service ever. Never on time or no show no call. Cheap construction materials. This was the worse decision I ever made in buying a house. Too expensive. The smart home and alarm services that they use. Are only to rip people off. They don’t include upgrades or appliances.
So if you thinking in buying a house from this people. Just keep on going to the next builder.
