Our dog had a reaction to one of his vaccines and they took him in immediately and treated him with such care and kindness. I’m loving our vet more each time they treat our dogs.

My dog has an ear infection and they can't get him in for 6 weeks! Every time I've called since I brought him for a meet the vet visit has been at least a 1 month wait. I'm done with these folks.

Sumter county animal hospital has always met all of my vet needs, they’ve helped squeeze in last minute appointments to the best of their abilities when I’ve had things come up with my pets, the doctors are great with my pets and the customer service has always been great.i tragically lost my beloved cat to an accident I called them immediately for cremation and christin told me come in right away and we got you, and they did the process was so smooth for us, they took the time to get his paw prints for me and gave us a card signed by all of their staff.definitely recommend to all of my friends and family.

Everyone was helpful and pleasant. Took very good care of my kitten. Looking forward to our next visit would highly recommend.

This animal hospital has a no-fear approach when interacting with the animals. They kept things quiet, offered her a treat, and did not try to move the cat from place to place, letting her stay in her carrier until they needed to start examining her. Dr. Collins was gentle and knowledgeable.

If you are looking for a groomer, look no further! Des blew me away with his kindness and the perfect bath/cut on my high maintenance little diva. He also grooms cats and they look incredible!

Front the front desk, technicians and vet outstanding customer service and care.

It was my first time there and I brought my toddler son along with my wild young lab who is over 100 lbs.

My appt was only for x-rays yet they let me come earlier and I asked if there was a way we could make it a wellness visit in which they did.

They took care of my dog with excellent care, help me with my toddler as the front desk brought him a toy to keep him entertained. The vet brought me back to show me the X-ray and the technician help me get the dog back in the car.

After this I will take my other dog here and I will recommend Dr. Brown

Dr. Brown and her staff are top-notch! Having recently moved from NY, we needed to find a new vet and based on recommendations decided on Sumter County Animal Hospital. From the front desk, to the vet techs, to Dr. Brown herself, everyone was great! I'm so happy to have found a vet I believe we'll feel right at home with.

Recent relocation to the area and needed to find a Vet for our 2 1/2 year old BerneDoodle. So fortunate to find Dr. Brown and everyone at Sumter County Animal Hospital. Everything was exceptional, from check-in, to the time Dr. Brown and Lisa spent with us. Never felt rushed, and all of our questions were answered. Thank you!

I like not having to wait in a large room before seeing doctor. The wait time is brief, doctor explains things well and answers questions, techs are great as are the office staff. Costs are reasonable. I have had nothing but a good experience taking Chloe there.

This is an update to my prior review while dr Mcbride was there: Dr Mcbride did retire and Dr Brown bought the practice. I was really afraid that I would have to go through several vets to find one I trusted and could relate to. SURPRISE! I like Dr Brown. She is very caring, and has helped me make the transition with out any trauma! She was very kind when I put an old dog to sleep, and she has done a surgery on another dog, also with care and kindness for both the dog and the owner. I'm going to stay with her.

Dr brown saved Maui’s life about 2 years ago. She spend 5 days at UF Animal hospital came home on various medications and still was not recovering as she had a Protozoa never seen in dogs. Maui soon spent 3 days with Dr brown who said to me we don’t usually see this in dogs but we have in horses so she decided to treat her like the small horse that she is. Maui finally started to recover! To this day I believe if it weren’t for dr brown my baby may not be here with me now. Dr brown is simply the best!

The staff is always so pleasant even when they're running behind. They show care for us owners as well as our fur babies and you can't put a price on that. Would recommend them to everyone!

I called for an appointment, the lady that answered the phone wasn't friendly at all, on top of that she charged me $56 deposit in case I didn't showed up for the appointment. As soon as I found another vet that didn't charged me a deposit, I called to cancel my appointment with this office. I refused to go to a vet that charges a deposit, I mever heard anything like it.
