3My husband and I were snowbird residents of Kings Point for 22 years. After visiting a number of churches in our area, 10 years ago, we found SCC United Methodist Church. It soon became the Church we really wanted to have in our lives. Having lost my precious husband, I moved to SCC as a full time resident last November. The first thing I wanted to do was become a member of my wonderful church. As soon as there was a new member service I became a member of a Church that is my family. With God’s loving care and the love of my church family they carried me through the terrible loss of losing my beloved husband. It is a wonderful Church, a church where love is freely given and a wonderful pastor who truly loves His Lord and lets the Lord speak through him. Pastor Charlie, other spiritual leaders and staff share a love of their Lord and minister to their flock with faith and love. I am so happy with my church and so many loving people I have come to know. I wish everyone could have a God believing church like the Sun City Center United Methodist Church.
I LOVE this church! I am in the choir and I play handbells. The music is out-of this-world. Best in the area. The people are friendly, and make you feel at home. Lots of programs in and outside of the church, even for kids. Everyone is welcome.
